Honey Apple Butter Baked Beans

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2012
Adjusted this to make four servings. I used all pinto beans and homemade apple butter and left out the cayenne pepper. This was a different way to make baked beans and we enjoyed. Served these with apple butter pork chops. Thanks for a new side dish to try.

Apple Butter Pork Loin

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2012
This rating is on the idea; as I used pork chops and homemade apple butter, so cooking time, etc had to be adjusted. We love this, would never thought to use apple butter; but was a wonderful tasty meal. Thanks for posting, UMich97. Will try this with pork loin next time.

Onion, Garlic, Cheese Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2012
Very good, easy to prepare bread. Per some reviewers suggestions; I omitted the salt, added some extra onion and used white cheddar cheese. This was wonderful paired a roast made with pasta sauce. The variations for this is endless as many have expressed. Carol, thanks for posting a keeper for this household!!

Roast beef cooked in pasta sauce.

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2012
12/23/2012: Update: I made this today using 6 skinless chicken thighs and doubled the sauce which I plan on serving over your homemade polenta recipe. Thank you again for posting a wonderful addition to our household, manella.....My roast was a little over 3 pounds so I adjusted the cooking time. I sliced the onion and celery thin and shredded the carrot; also used stewed tomatoes. This made the kitchen smell wonderful and we couldn't wait to taste it. Served this sliced thin over rigattoni pasta with onion bread and a spinach salad. Next time, I will double the sauce. There is enough for leftovers which I think will even taste better after sitting. Thank you, manella, for sharing something different for us to try that turned out wonderful.

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2012
I used chicken thighs, italian seasoning instead of oregano and stewed tomatoes. The sauce was thin for our liking, next time I will add some tomato sauce or paste. Served this over angel hair pasta with garlic bread and a green side salad. Thanks for posting.

Chicken Kisses

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2012
A friend was looking for a recipe for her husband's birthday dinner. He loves Hershey Kisses and this was perfect for her presentation. ( He actually thought she was giving him a big, chocolate hershey kiss... much to his surprise ) This rating is based on her and her husband, as I did not make it. She cut the potatoes small and added thin sliced carrots. They both raved about the taste ! Thanks, Kim Jett for sharing to make his birthday special.

Family Style Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2012
Great tasting, easy for a quick dinner. Only change I made was leaving out the mushrooms as we do not care for them. We loved using Linguine in this, it seemed much better than the noodles that I grew up with. We will be fighting over who will take the leftovers for lunch tomorrow. Thanks, Don for sharing a wonderful recipe that will be a staple in this house!!
