Gramma's Apple Bread Pudding

This recipe was absolutely delicious. I followed it exactly. Checked it after 40 mins. in the oven and did another 10. Next time I might use 3 eggs as some suggested but otherwise it was just perfect. I did do the vanilla sauce but couldn't get past so much butter in it so I used 1/4 cup butter and added a little cornstarch to thicken, Came out great. Thanks for sharing it!

Easy Batter Fruit Cobbler

Although I liked the flavor of this, it was gooey in the middle and starting to get too brown on the outsides after 50 mins. It did taste very good with fresh strawberries I had. Also very easy.

Carnitas Filling

Excellent recipe. I couldn't believe how easy it was and the ingredients are ones I always have around the house. The leftover cooking liquid and veggies I put in some ham/bean soup (because I hate to waste anything), yummy.

Sugar Cookies with Buttercream Frosting

Excellent cookie recipe. Tasted great. I did the recipe exactly (I did add more vanilla but by accident. My bottle of Mexican vanilla has a large top so extra went in). It tasted great and the cookies were light, delicious and had a very nice texture. Thanks for the recipe. Definitely in my recipe box.

Indian Stir-Fried Shrimp in Cream Sauce (Bhagari Jhinga)

This recipe was fantastic. My picky eater husband licked his plate clean. This is definitely a keeper. I too omitted the mustard seeds, I didn't have them. Not sure why others found the recipe bland. With all the spices it was very flavorful.

Indian Style Chicken Breasts with Vegetables

I thought this dish was delicious. My husband said he would teek it next time but he tweeks every recipe. It was very easy to prepare, very tasty and I felt healthy with the carrot and tomato. I made some taboulleh to go with it.

Catherine's Spicy Chicken Soup

The recipe is delicious. I cooked a turkey the other night, with the carcass and some frozen chicken parts made turkey/chicken soup. After eating turkey for 3 meals I couldn't eat the soup, too much turkey. Last night I added the ingredients in this recipe and tasted it, great. We're eating it for dinner tonight. I didn't have beans so I added a can of turkey chili w/beans. I only used one can of tomates and no tomato soup as I don't like the the taste. I think 3 cans of tomato items is way too much tomato for me.I haven't put in the sour cream yet, my opinion it is great without the sour cream. Thanks for sharing this.

Easy Cajun Jambalaya

Frank's Famous Spaghetti Sauce

Very good. I only used 2 8 oz. cans of tomato sauce, which I thought was plenty. I also used fresh tomatoes from the garden, fresh basil and fresh oregano. Even my husband liked it which is a good sign because EVERYTHING to him is too bland.

Jane's Famous Dilled Potato Salad

This recipe was very good. I made during the day on a Friday, we ate it at dinner but it was far better on Sunday. My only adjustment was I added a little more salt. I didn't give it 5 stars because it could have used some other seasoning to perk it up a bit, but very good. I used fresh dill and parsley from my garden.

Cindy's Country Style Creole Pork Roast

I thought this was very good although my vegetable mixture came out a little watery. I used a minichopper and I think I processed a little too long. I don't use bacon so covered rubbed the roast with garlic oil. The roast was very tasty. I had additional vegetable mixture which I tossed with potatoes, zucchini, onions and lemon pepper oil for a side dish...delicious.
