Kitty Litter Cake

This cake was tasty and hilarious. I made this for my son's Halloween party and it was a hit. The parents gagged and the kids thought it was cool.

Baked Apples

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2008
Family loved this! My Changes: I skined and sliced the apples. I mixed apple juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract and covered the bottom of the pan with it. I made 'Crumb Topping for Pies' recipe from this site and put it on top of the apples to give it texture. Baked it for 20 minutes and it was done. I think the slicing of the apples made a difference in the bake. This taste just like apple crisp with the topping on it. I will be making this again.

Slow Cooker Chili II

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2008
This chili was EXCELLENT!! I personally don't like chili or beans, but my husband has been wanting some chili for some time so I decided to make some and found this recipe. My Changes: I seasoned the beef, sauteed the veggies in the juices of the meat, I used 29 oz tomato puree, I drained both cans of kidney beans, instead of cannellini beans I used pinto beans in chili sauce, I didn't have chili pepper or hot sauce so I used 1/4 cayenne pepper. I will be adding this to my recipes. Thank you!
