About this Cook
I'm a stay at home wife to four kids. Two boys and two girls. I love to cook and I love to eat. We have a big family so my husband and I are always trying to find something good and fullfilling to eat
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake and decorate cakes. It's one of my favorite hobbies. I love to make different dishes all the time, from Chinese to southern foods. I'm always in the mood for something new.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Eating big Meals every Sunday. It was a big thing in my house growing up and i wanted to be able to have the same "Sunday is family day" feeling that I had as a child. I love holiday cooking. It's that time a year that I cook for company potlucks and holidays themed cookies and cakes for the kids classmates, and just share my food with other people. I love to entertain with my food :)
My cooking triumphs
Learning how to cook. I cooked here and there in my earlier years ( husband used to cook more) but I must say in the the last 5 years I have really stepped up and got into cooking a lot more. I make more homemade things then I did before. I have also learned how to decorate cake. I have been learning on my own, but I hope to take a few classes one day. I truly enjoy and appreciate my food and cooking a lot more.
My cooking tragedies
I baked a Butterfly cupcake pull apart cake and a Gumball Machine cake for my daughter's class and it was a really hot day. I made the frosting from scratch and it was so hot that my frosting melt. My butterfly looked like it was melting away LOL.
