Sopapilla Cheesecake Dessert

This was a hit at a ladies bible study. This dessert is done 1000 times here in Texas, but usually more gooey and without the almonds. So it was received like a new dessert, crisper top and more sophisticated. Thanks!!!

Caramel Popcorn

I gave myself 3rd degree burns, the caramel hardened right away almost and could not "thinly" pour it on. Most of the popcorn did not get covered as a result. i will do waht was suggested in the microwave. Sounds safer. It must be me but my hand is killing me!

Michael's Foccacia Bread

This was a fast and easy bread to do. I used a bit too much salt on the top, but that was a matter of preference. The bread itself was very good. This will be a staple for homemade bread. Lots of ways to add to it too. Thanks for another great recipe from this site!!

Fresh Peach Cobbler I

Not sweet enough for my taste, but that is a matter of preference. If sweet is not your preference, then this is a great recipe. I doubled the batter and wished I hadn't because that was the least flavorful part of the recipe. It seemed to need vanilla and perhaps brown sugar? Looked beautiful though, and I added sugar/cinnamon to the top. I used fresh peaches and even though they were super sweet, still not enough to make a difference. Probably will not make again.

Delicious Grilled Hamburgers

Whipped Garlic

I did not enjoy this! Way too salty and so hot I almost burned the inside of my mouth. I was disappointed. I am accustomed to Lebanese puree that is white, light and fluffy with strong garlic, but definately not THAT strong. This was yellow, soupy, salty and beyond hot.

Mexican Wedding Cake
