Alice Chicken

This was so good! I made it without the mushrooms (Hubby HATES them) and wrapped the bacon around the chicken instead of frying it first. Most tender chicken I've ever had!

Bubble 'n' Squeak II

This dish by itself was alright, adding mozzarella cheese and sausage made it quite tasty though!

So good! My boyfriend has been asking for it every night for the past week (I'm waiting to make it again so we don't burn out on it)

Orange Salmon II

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2012
This was a good starting point for this dish. I added garlic, salt and pepper and let the OJ caramelize before pouring it over the fish. I served it with rice and cucumber dill sauce. Fabulous! Tastes like cooked sushi when all mixed together. ;)

Green Tea Mint Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2012
I loved them, but my boyfriend really disliked them. (Took a bite and spit it back out begging for something to get the taste out. Charming, I know) I used chamomile tea, 1/2 t of vanilla extract and one crushed peppermint candy. It looked really dry before chilling so I took the advice of other reviewers and added about a 1/3 C of sugar. Fixed it right up! I also rolled them into balls and fork/pressed them (I hate rolling cookie dough) Will definitely be making these again, maybe for a baby shower or girls night in!

Really simple but I felt like it needed more. Hubby loved it though so it'll be used a lot after this.

Perfect amount of spice for me and my hubby! I omitted the Parsley (as I hate chopping it) and it still came out splendidly!

Pasta Pizzaz

So good! Only thing I did differently was to not cook the tomatoes with the rest of the ingredients. I left them raw and mixed them in. So good!

No Beans About It - Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2012
I can agree with earlier reviews about the vinegar content... Way too acidic in the end. Although after a little doctoring (added a can of rotel w/habeneros and a lot more seasonings) it was good.

Vickie's Beer Bread

A great hit with my boys! I add 1 tsp of italian seasonings and 1 tsp of garlic powder to mine. I've made it with Shark Top, Sam Adams Winter Lager and OBP2. (The Shark Top is probably my favorite but the men preferred the Winter Lager.)

Sugar Cream Pie III

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2011
This pie is delicious! I've never had Sugar Cream Pie before and it is amazing. To get our pie to set you need to take it out of the oven and let it firm up out of the oven. I REPEAT: IT FIRMS OUT OF THE OVEN. 5 Stars all the way.
