Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Oh my goodness this was great. Served it last night when some friends came over for Monday Night Football. I used a 4lb Pork Shoulder as someone suggested and a 2L bottle of Rootbeer. Cooked on low for 7 hours. Drained and pulled apart, removing any fat I could. Added 1 bottle of Sweet Baby Ray's Hickory and Brown Sugar BBQ sauce and let sit on low for another hour. 1 bottle was just enough, so if you like it saucy I would recommend 1.5 bottles. With this BBQ sauce it is a little sweet, so maybe choose a different BBQ sauce if you like it more smokey. Buttered split buns and browned under the broiler, then topped with pulled pork and French's Fried Onions (as per another reviewers suggestion). Could not have been better! All of us were rushing for seconds!!
