Sausage Party Melts

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2009
I love this recipe and these are always gone by the end of the night (sometimes they don't even make it a couple of hours). I will triple for large parties. I don't even bother with the tomatoes or oregano and I like to use french bread sliced thin.

Tortilla and Bean Soup

Great soup. Very easy to make. I'm trying to lose weight after having a baby and this is one of the tastiest lowfat soups I've found. Filling and delicious.

Tiramisu II

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2008
Wonderful recipe!! I used hard ladyfingers, kahlua instead of rum, doubled the coffee/kahlua mixture, and dipped the ladyfingers rather than drizzling them with the mixture. I may even triple the coffee/kahlua mixture next time as my first layer I had soaked more than the second layer and my friends agreed the ones with more of the mixture were great. I think I will also add one or two tablespoos of sugar to the whipping cream next time to slightly sweeten it. I did make it 24 hours ahead of time like others recommended. Wonderful recipe, received tons of compliments.

Deer Poppers

These are delicious. Every time I make them I run out. I always marinate them overnight as it gives the best flavor.

Cheesy Ham and Hash Brown Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2003
I thought this recipe was great, but if you like onions, mushrooms, etc., definitely add them because it makes the dish even better. My husband who hates all the vegetables that I love likes this recipe just the way it is so I always make two, one for the vegetable lovers and one for the pickier eaters!

White Pizza Dip

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2003
This recipe is really great, I have been making it for a couple of years now out of a Lipton recipe cookbook. The main difference in the Lipton book is you use 16 ounces of sour cream rather than one cup. This cuts down on the saltiness of the dish and the texture is creamier. I also add 1/4 cup chopped pepperoni. Whenever I ask someone what I can bring to a party, this is what they request!
