Excellent flavor! Next time, I think I'll try rubbing the spices on the fish, then sprinkle the onions on top.

Oatmeal Bread II

I substitute 2 c. of whole wheat and use the dough setting on my bread machine, then bake it in the oven for 25 min. at 350. This was one of the softest breads I've ever made!

These cookies are an excellent way to use up that box of Grapenuts. Great browned butter flavor. I liked to bake them until brown and crispy.

Slow Cooker Tapioca Pudding

I've been making tapioca pudding for years, and this is unbelievable! Like other reviews, I made sure to beat my eggs well before adding. It's too bland without salt, butter, and vanilla, which I add after it's done. Thanks for an ingenious way to cook tapioca!

Swiss 'n' Bacon Pizza

I thought this was super good. I made 2, a smaller one for my boys with colby since they don't like swiss, and one as is, but with pizza dough instead of biscuits.

Mandarin Orange Cake III

I made this healthier by using white whole wheat flour and cutting the sugar a little. I used pineapple instead of oranges. It's what I had on hand. I put the icing on as soon as the cake came out. Then, put it under the broiler 6 in. from heat for 3-4 min. until toasty brown. Very, very good!

Fresh Southern Peach Cobbler

When I make this for breakfast, I use less sugar in the peaches and dough. I also use whole wheat flour. So good! I serve with milk or yogurt. The topping makes this the best peach cobbler around!

Maryann's Upside Down Rhubarb Cake

Absolutely the best! I even made it healthier by making my own yellow cake with whole wheat flour and less sugar. I used more rhubarb and less sugar in the topping. The cake was gone before it cooled off!
