Cheese Lover's Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2014
Really good. I cut the recipe in half and still had plenty for 4 people.

Fruit Pizza I

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2013
This was a huge hit at work. I used refrigerated sugar cookie dough and added cool whip to the frosting. This is very sweet! The frosting is amazing, but again, extremely sweet.

Chocolate Ganache Icing

Reviewed: May 22, 2013
I made slot of changes to this. 1. Used semi sweet instead of bitter sweet. 2 added 2 tbs of corn syrup at the end so it looks nice and glossy. 3. This recipe is way to thin when followed just as directed. I had to add powdered sugar until it was thick enough to even spread. Even then it's not thick like butterflies, more like a syrup. Put it in the fridge to thicken up a but, then just pour it over the cake and let harden. I don't see how other people don't comment on how thin this is. Anyway, the flavor is great, the consistency is not.

G.G.'s Chocolate Sheet Cake

Reviewed: May 22, 2013
Good cake. Word of warning, this takes longer than 25 minutes to bake. The ends get done quick but it seems like the middle takes a while longer. Good flavor, but light in texture. As a personal preference I like a denser cake, but would still make again as a good base cake.

Tortellini and Sausage in Gorgonzola Cream Sauce

Reviewed: May 17, 2013
Very good. Didn't really like the sausage flavor. Next time will make without the meat. Very filling. Great pasta dish.

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Reviewed: May 2, 2013
Very good but very sweet. It's a perfect base cookie to try other types of candy bars.

I have been making this recipe for a couple years and it is the best Apple pie ever.

Penne Rosa with Parmesan Crusted Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2013
I thought this dish was just ok. The flavor want spectacular. Maybe next time will try it with ground beef and see if that makes a difference.

Country Fried Steak and Milk Gravy

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2013
It's good, but I gave it average rating for 2 reasons. 1. It's very bland. Be sure to add a lot of salt and pepper. 2. (And the biggest reason I gave it 3 stars), it is an absolute mess to make. It took me just as long to clean up as it did to make the dish. Again, when a lot of extra salt and pepper are added, it is a tasty dinner. But, I can probably only have the patience to make it once every few months, if that.

Magic Cookie Bars from EAGLE BRAND®

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2013
Very good. The only thing I would not use again are the nuts. I used chopped pecans and wasn't thrilled with the nutty aftertaste. Maybe next time I would use a salty nut, like peanuts, just for some flavor contrast. Otherwise, I would definitely make again.

Bacon Wrapped Pork Chops

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2013
I browned the chops in the bacon grease then baked for 30 minutes with the cheese and bacon on them. The chops came out perfect. The only reason I am giving it 3 stars is because I did not like the flavor of the processed cheese with this dish. Next time I will try sliced or shredded.

Creamy Chicken Lasagna

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2013
Absolutely delicious. I used ready to bake lasagna noodles and had no problems. Even assembled everything the night before, stuck it in the fridge and baked it the next day. One time I used half pasta sauce half Alfredo sauce. To die for. LOVE this dish!

Bird Seed Energy Bars

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2013
This was very easy to make and very good. I cut back on the honey, and added almonds, sunflower seeds and chocolate chips. I did like the other reviews said and added an extra egg so it wouldn't crumble and it came out perfect. Next time I will maybe add some dried bananas or some other kind of fruit. Peanut butter would be a good addition also.

Pork Chops 'n' Pierogies

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2013
Good. Very sweet. Cut back on the sugar. Don't boil the pierogies, pan fry them. Otherwise they are too doughy. Otherwise good, polish meal.

Make-Ahead Unstuffed Shells

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2013
This was a very tasty comfort food. You definitely need to add some salt. Other than that, it was great. Will make again. Note: I did not refrigerate and cook at a later time. I popped it in the oven right away and it came out delicious.

MMMMM... Brownies

These are good but very cake like. I prefer my brownies more chewy in texture and these are not like that. Good flavor, just too cakey for me
