Mmm-Mmm Better Brownies

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2012
These are great but I changed the sugar up for a richer taste, half white sugar half dark brown sugar. Amazing.

Banana Pudding I

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2012
Contrary to some reviews, my pudding came out silky smooth, stir and stir and stir some more, be patient. Use the best ingredients, why skimp when your making it from scratch. I used unsalted butter and Madagascar Vanilla and it was perfect! Cooled it and I did use one shortcut because I forgot heavy whipping cream for whip cream, we used cool whip. Another thing if you want a custard like pudding which is different in taste and texture omit the egg whites and use egg yokes and cook this over a double broiler. But was a great recipe!

Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes with Ham

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2012
It was fantastic! I did make one change for a thicker creamer sauce I used 1cup of heavy whipping cream and 1cup milk. The cheese I used a shredded blend which melted easier. I omitted the peas because I'm the only one who likes them. Great night dinner or to take to a potluck.

Shepherd's Pie VI

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2013
Made it this evening, great flavor but will agree there are shortcuts with same great flavor. I also used pie crust in the bottom of my pie, chopped my carrots very small and nuked them much faster, used Green Giant frozen sweet peas and I used Bob Evans regular mashed potatoes. Half the time and great taste! . Browning the beef with the onions is all the work. . Great recipe, I've been looking for a recipe similar to a Shepards Pie we got in Epcot and this is it!

Blonde Brownies I

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2013
These were super easy, I also doubled the recipe. I omitted the chocolate chips added cinnamon baked until just past gooey. Served vanilla ice cream with warm Carmel sauce and walnuts. You could use praline pecans for a decadent desert. I will add this to my other Blondies recipes, you can't go wrong and if your baker you will usually have all the ingredients on hand.

Marinated Flank Steak

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2013
Amazing, I made this Friday night with flat iron steak for fajitas and it was melt in your mouth. Definite keeper! I did change one thing, I used aged balsamic vinegar instead of red wine vinegar. Oh and I used lime juice instead of lemon. Grilled 9 minutes per side, tented it with aluminum foil after it rested for about 5-8 minutes and carved thin and it was just fantastic. I would recommend this, try it once and see for yourself.

Snickerdoodles II

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2013
Great recipe! I used butter instead of shortening and refrigerated the dough for 20 minutes before baking. I did not roll as I have cookie scooper and sprinkled cinnamon sugar.
