About this Cook
I live in Seattle WA in a suburb called Ballard. My whole life my family has been into food, especially going out to fine restaurants. So I would call myself a bit of a foodie and a wino. I love food but not necessarily cooking it especially since I am single and cooking for one, so I am hoping to get back into it. I love to bake though and will bake at any given moment. I also like to knit garden, travel, my dog & cat, entertain, go wine tasting, spending time with friends, hiking, cars and lots more. I am open to new things and lots of suggestions.
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake.
My favorite family cooking traditions
At Thanksgiving time my mom always made an amazing sweet potato(yam) souffle. Now I make it every year and it has never let me down.
My cooking triumphs
Butterscotch banana bread. Slow cooker pulled pork. Some people said it was the best they ever had!
My cooking tragedies
Orange chicken (in the crockpot), it was actually so bad we couldn't eat it.

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs
I was a little skeptical because the the mixture of ingredients sounded a little strange but it really came together nicely and was delicious! The reviews were spot on. My boyfriend wants to try it on fish now.
