Salmon with Caramelized Leeks

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2015
Great dish! I loved it. I didn't follow the exact cooking time for the leeks though. I put them in the pan, salted them and covered with a lid. They softened within 10mins. I added the carrots and brown sugar. I added about 3 teaspoons of brown sugar and sprinkled with salt 3-4 times. I took it off the stove just when the carrots began to lighly soften up, about another 5-1mins. Everyone loved it. =]

Elvis Sandwich

This was really good. However, it's heavy. So half a sandwich is plenty...personal preference

Finnish Pulla

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2014
I made this today and everyone loved it. I only used 3/4 of each ingredient since I thought 9 cups of flour is too much. I also had to leave the dough rise for 2hrs, then punched it down and let it rise for another hour. I braided it and let it rise for another hour before baking. I brushed with butter and baked at 375 for about 30mins. Even after cutting and let it sit out for a few hours, the bread was soft and delicious.

Love them! They were gone by the end of the day. Easy to make. Easy to dip in chocolate. Great dessert for peanut butter lovers.

This was really easy to make and very delicious. I served with maple flavored sausages. Even the leftovers for later in the day were still good.

Iced Pumpkin Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2014
Absolutely amazing! They were gone from the baking tray even before I had a chance to set them out on the table. The only thing I did different is reduce the sugar to 3/4cup. They were great.

Fabulous Beef Tenderloin

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2014
So delicious! I was worried it might be too salty as some of the other reviews mentioned; so I added 1/2 cup soy sauce, 1/2 cup unsalted butter, and 1/3 cup water. I also rubbed the beef with garlic powder, pepper, and thyme.

It was okay. Yes, tasty, but something was missing. It could use some more spice to it; but overall, a very easy and fast recipe

The meal came out great! I added more salt and pepper. I also mixed the pasta with the sour cream before layering it with the sauce and cheese. I covered it with foil for the first half of baking time. =]

Everyone loved this meal at home! The only thing I did different is that I covered the pan with foil for the first 20min and then uncovered it until cooked and browned up.

Easy Mini Quiches

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2014
It's an easy and quick recipe. I changed a few things though. Instead of bacon, I used hot dogs and chopped them into small pieces and fried with just a little bit of butter (ham would probably be very tasty too). I used 1/2 cup of Bisquick and any type of cheese you have at home will make it tasty.
