wonderful and chocolate. easy to make also. i followed the recipe with the exception of the cocoa powder i had said it was dark cocoa powder. it was really good.

i make this alot but with variations. i add a tbsp of peanut butter to it. sometimes a little malt powder. you can also make this with plain yoghurt.

i have made these many times for dessert buffets. they always are the first thing to go. when people see them in the freezer (i keep them in the freezer until serving time) they even break into them before i get to put them out. if i have some around, i add a handful of butterscotch chips to the peanutbutter to the melted butter. and if your chocolate breaks (always happens to me), just add a little cream or half and half to it.

Aunt Gail's Oatmeal Lace Cookies

i really liked this, it was so easy to make. i was making it for a cookie swap so i made 3 batches, the first time i made just one and they turned out fine. the second time i doubled it and they didn't spread as well. still great. i just used vanilla extract, no almond. i will most definitely make these again.
