Quinoa and Black Beans

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2010
I made this tonight and would not change a thing except I splashed some lime over it. So good I have enough ingredients to make again tomorrow. My wife is very critical of my cooking and she could not stop eating this one.

the only thing I would change is to rinse out the salt after letting it sit.

Simple and easy and I modified the recipe by cutting the sugar in half.

Wheat Crackers

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2007
This is an awesome recipe, but you really need to add some spices to the flour and definately the salt. One think I added to give it a little zing is mix some olive oil and tabasco and brush on before baking. I made a lot more crackers than the 32 servings and used the exact recipe. Another thing I added was sunflower seeds and flax and replaced the veggie oil with olive oil.

Caramelized Frog Legs

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2007
This recipe rocks, not that I cook frog legs that much. The only thing I suggest is cook longer than the suggested time on each side. I did at least 4 to 5 on each side. I served with a green salad and brown rice.

Double Chocolate Biscotti

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2006
This recipe is great, I have never made biscotti before and they turned out perfect. A couple of things I changed, would reduce the temp on the initial bake. Also I only let them cool about 15 minutes before I cut them. I also melted some dark chocolate and spread it on the top and then let them cool a little and then dusted them with confection sugar. Awesome!!!

Kim Chee Squats

Reviewed: May 30, 2005
I did not care for the taste at first but the longer I let it sit in the frig the better it tastes, not I can not keep enough. It lasts way longer than one week, I made mine at least 3 months ago still going strong.

Was not sure how this one would turn out, have never made bananna bread before. Wow this was great, I also added some walnuts. But did not change a thing on the original recipe except for the walnuts. Will make this one again

Chinese Cold Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2005
This is a very traditional tasting dish and just too easy to prepare. I would cut down on the red pepper some it is a little hot if that is not your thing.

This recipe is too cake like, looking for a good chewy recipe. If any one know of one please let me know.
