Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2012
Instead of nuts I sprinkled a crushed Heath Bar and served it with mini Nilla Wafers and chocolate graham crackers. It was gone in a flash. So yummy!

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2012
My family loved this sweet bread and raved about it even the next day! I halved this reciped because I was short on zuchinni. I tossed 2 T of vanilla Karo because unfortunately I realized late in the game I was out of vanilla extract but it worked great! Also added a half cup of chocolate chips for the and it was delish! Thanks for sharing!

Little Meat Loaves

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2012
I only used ground beef because it was on hand and this was still a tasty and simple meat loaf recipe that agreed with all of my kids ages 7-14 as well as the grown-up at the table.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2010
Soup was tasty and everyone at our get-together liked it. Next time I may add more spice to give it a little more kick than just the onion flavor.

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2010
So delicious! The salsa bowl was empty and there was mere sugar/cinn dust remaining from the chips. Definately a crowd favorite that will show up for many a party!

Foolproof Rib Roast

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2009
I was a doubter but trusted the rave reviews and it didn't disappoint! Served with roasted red baby potatoes, ceasar salad and and an orange fluff salad. The plate was beautiful and the meal was amazing with an easy, wonderful anchor of prime rib roast!

Lime Fish Tacos

Reviewed: May 28, 2009
Like many others I used talapia because it's what I had on hand. I didn't have hot sauce so I substituted a little bit if the 3C's (cunim, corriander & ceyenne)with fresh crached pepper. Pretty tasty and fast dinner option.

Chicken Tortilla Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2007
This is a crowd favorite at my dinner table. I turn up the heat a bit with 2T chili powder and use medium salsa. It is a little runny so I drain the juice off of the salsa...don't toss it though just put it on the fridge and use the spicy liquid for another recipe in a few days.

Garlic Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2007
After a couple times making these, I found that if you crank the heat to 400 and cut the spuds into 6 pieces, the baking time comes a little bit closer to what the recipe suggests. My husband and I just love these potatoes and I always look forward to the leftovers as part of lunch or dinner the next day.

Irish Cream Truffle Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2007
YUM! This is so easy for a first time fudge maker and will certainly impress. The irish creme lingers with even the smallest of bites. I will definatly add this to my holiday baking list in the future. Thanks for sharing!

Brunch Egg Bake

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2007
This recipe was a good one. I did cut the cheese by two cups (one casserole certainly doesn't need 6 cups and neither do my hips!) and cut the parsley to 1.5 T and it was still plenty. Very pretty presentation of you cut in rows and then on the diagonal and stack at an ange on the plate. Thanks for sharing!

Miniature Chocolate Eclairs

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2007
These were good but a filling of light white creme would have perhaps been better. My pastries were very light (which is good!) but when the dark filling absorbed a bit it made them look heavy. With the chocolate on top, the filling makes the eclair pretty rich. My guests liked them but next time I'll switch out the filling for something that's non-chocolate.
