I've used this recipe, as posted, several times. I worried when I crammed each little ball onto the pan as in the past my cookies have always run into each other while they bake. These always come out with just the right thickness. And although cookies tend to lose that fresh out of the oven taste they are still good a week later. Because it's just me, my husband and a newborn, I usually divide up the dough, bake just a bit, and freeze the rest for later, which still comes out great.
My husband hates when I make these because he cannot stay away from them! I usually make them for church dinners or special events and have never gone home with extras. Even if they don't get eaten up people are asking if they can take some home. Thank you for posting this!
