Seven Layer Taco Dip

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2013
I made this for a church lunch and people loved it. We have a very diverse group of people, and everyone really enjoyed it - in fact, they kept asking if one of the great chefs in our church had made it! Only thing I omitted was the lettuce, because it did have to sit for a couple hours during church and I was worried about wilting. That was it. I used a 9X13 pan and it came out perfect. Use Tostida Scoops! They are great for this dip!

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2013
I've used this recipe, as posted, several times. I worried when I crammed each little ball onto the pan as in the past my cookies have always run into each other while they bake. These always come out with just the right thickness. And although cookies tend to lose that fresh out of the oven taste they are still good a week later. Because it's just me, my husband and a newborn, I usually divide up the dough, bake just a bit, and freeze the rest for later, which still comes out great. My husband hates when I make these because he cannot stay away from them! I usually make them for church dinners or special events and have never gone home with extras. Even if they don't get eaten up people are asking if they can take some home. Thank you for posting this!

Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2013
Delicious! I adjusted a few things for my personal tastes, but didn't divert too far from this recipe. I had never tried Gruyere before but it was great - that's why I love this site, I learn about new foods all the time. Thank you for submitting this...I will never buy alfredo sauce again!

Simple BBQ Ribs

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2013
My husband and I loved these. I have never been a rib fanatic but I just raided the fridge for leftovers. I had 2 lbs of ribs which I boiled 45 minutes, and then cooked a little under an hour and they were done. Thank you for posting such a great and easy recipe.

Hot Crab Dip

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2012
My pretentious and critical mother-in-law asked me to bring cheese and crackers among a few other things to thanksgiving dinner, so I wanted to impress her and her husband. I've tried other hot crab dips on this site which are always too soupy. After reading this recipe it looked like exactly the thickness I was looking for, particularily because not much mayo is used (other recipes with a cup or more of mayo turned out too greasy and thin). I did add a few things as per suggestions; however, I think that it is all a matter of personal taste and therefore will not list what I added. If you are particular, I recomend seperating a small amount of dip from the batch, baking, and taste testing to determine what you would like to add/take away. I was very happy with the flavor and especially pleased with the texture. I used lump crab and the exact amount the recipe called for and in my opinion was the perfect amount. Thank you for sharing a wonderful hot crab dip recipe!

Cornish Game Hens with Garlic and Rosemary

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2012
I have used this recipe a handful of times. The hens cook perfectly and are always moist. Very easy to prepare but sure to impress your family and/or guests! Thank you for posting this - I have passed this on to my aunt as well.

Easy, delicious, and a great way to use up old bread! Instead of brushing with butter I coated the inside of a large Ziplock bag with melted butter, added bread, and shook to coat. Then I spread on the cooking sheet and sprinkled with garlic powder.
