Easy Punch

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2003
I made this punch for my son's baptism. It was very easy and a big hit. I made an ice ring using diluted pineapple juice and that worked nicely. SUPER!

Caramel Popcorn

SO GOOD! I 1/2 the caramel and used about 12 cups of popcorn (made with my old stir crazy). This is a great recipe! Thanks.

YUMMY! I replaced the raisins with cranberries as I like them more. This recipe was great. I will be making them again and again.

I love this quick easy recipe. I serve it with tortilla chips and shredded cheese. It is always a crowd pleaser and a nice change from chili

These pancakes were great. I am going to use the batter as my normal pancake recipe also.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2006
This was a great muffin recipe. I ended up using just a smidge more milk as the batter seemed too thick. I heavily sprayed my muffin pan with Pam and had no issue getting them out. UPDATE: I made these with frozen raspberries and they were delicious. I coated the very frozen raspberries in flour and folded them in right before I put the batter in the muffin cups- so good!

Mom's Applesauce Pancakes

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2006
very good. I did have to add a little more milk. I did also just have Bisquick on hand so I used that. Even my non-liking pancake husband thought these were good.

Feta Cheese Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: May 31, 2005
These were very moist. I made the mistake of using frozen ground turkey and next time will use fresh as they were almost too moist to grill. Everyone LOVED them.

Actually Delicious Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2005
I thought these were great. I added a little diced green pepper and then topped them with fat free sour cream mixed with a greek spice. I put them on whole wheat buns. Yummy. I do think next time I will add a piece of lettuce for crunch as my meat adoring hubby thought they were still a little too "soft" in texture.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2005
Very tasty! I really enjoyed this dish and I am usually not a "fish fan". The taste was very mild and not fishy at all. I used light miracle whip, and reduced fat parm. I also followed some suggestions and used Old Bay instead of the herbs. A very quick main dish to make. I will be making this again.

Holiday Wreaths

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2006
My aunt use to make these when I was little so I gave them a try. They came together nicely. I followed the recipe exactly and put the bowl in a larger bowl with a little hot water to keep the mixture soft. They are very pretty on a cookie tray as they have a bright green color. They do not freeze or last long as they get a little mushy (at least in my house) so I would make these just a few days before Christmas or the event you are taking them to. Thanks for this recipe from my childhood!

Land of Nod Cinnamon Buns

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2005
These were very good and easy to make. I actually let mine rise a little too long so I would suggest about 9 hours depending on the temp. of your house.

Candy Cane Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2004
Very easy recipe and it will make a nice filler on my Christmas trays. I microwaved the chips and milk for 1 minute on high, stirred, and then 25 seconds at a time on high until all the chips were melted. I then stirred in the extract and candy canes. Cut the pieces small as this is really rich.

Bacon Quiche Tarts

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2004
This was a great recipe. I doubled it, added two extra eggs and used Grands biscuits and split them in half. I baked in regular muffin tins. I baked them ahead of time and then put them in a covered pyrex dish to keep them warm in the oven.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2004
This was a great comfort food recipe. I added 2 cups of potatos and 1 cup of store bought frozen dumplings. Because of the dumplings I did have to increase the water by about 3/4 cup. YUM. I will definately make this again.

Dill and Shrimp Salad

VERY YUMMMY! We loved this quick, easy recipe. It has a great citrusy dill flavor that mingles well with the shrimp. I served it in pitas with fresh fruit on the side. It was a very nice change from the usual chicken or tuna salad.

Grandma's Peach French Toast

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2004
WONDERFUL! I have been looking for a great brunch recipe and this is it. I did have to add an extra egg in the morning so that all of my toast was moist. I also chopped my peaches so my 18 mo. old son could eat them easier. I sprinkled with powdered sugar. MMMMMMMmmmmmmmmm.
