Glazed Tofu Meatloaf

This was surprisingly good! I had a package of ground turkey & a package of lite tofu & nothing in mind to make for dinner. The recipe is also very forgiving -- add what you like, subtract what you don't. We don't like onions or green peppers, so I used poultry seasoning, garlic and mushrooms. I just added the seasoned bread crumbs until it all stuck together nicely. Great recipe, thank you!

Spicy Italian Pork Cutlets

My family loved this. After cooking it, the pork just didn't look very appetizing so I was worried I was going to have to make a fast food run to make up for a flop, but was very pleasantly surprised. I served it over wide egg noodled & will definitely make again. Thanks!

Mexican Casserole

My family loved this. I used regular corn rather than the cream corn and added about 1T of water. I miraculously managed to have a crunchy, cheesy top with a moist bottom. I used a lasagna spatula to serve it in nice little squares & topped with fresh tomatoes, avacado & lite sour cream. My son said it was fantastic, but to add more chicken next time. I have a feeling this recipe is great to play around with, but the more you add, the less success you will have with the cruncy to mosit ratio. But it will still taste great!

Baked Omelet Roll

It was my day to bring breakfast to work, so I made this & everyone loved it. I did add sausage & bacon before rolling up. Since I needed to triple the recipe, I used different pans & found that it is definitely better to use a glass 9 x 13 pan - the eggs turned out more fluffy & golden than those in the dark pan. Also, 20 minutes was too long to cook for my oven so I did 425 for 15min & that worked better. I prepared the night before & arranged all the rolled omelets into a larger pan, sprinked that with a little cheese & then reheated before going to work. It looked really nice & reheated well. Thanks for an easy recipe!

This was great for a quick work night meal. I added taco seasoning to the beef as I was browning it. I also broiled the corn tortillas rather than frying them in the butter to cut down a tad on the fat. I made a double recipe so for the left overs I served over baked potatoes with some salsa.

Apple Bavarian Torte

Much easier to make than I anticipated. Some tortes don't need a crust on the side, as they set firm enough. Given the amount of crust this recipe called for, I ran it up the side of the pan. It worked well, but I think would have been prettier w/o the crust on the sides. I also used 1.5X the cream mixture. I did precook the apples a little first, which reduces the amount. So if you precook the apples, don't reduct the number you use. It turned out great & tasted wonderful.

Slow Cooker Split Pea Sausage Soup

This turned out much better than I expected. I used 8 cups of water rather than 10 as per another review & was glad I did. Sicne reviews mentioned it being thin, I pureed 2 additional small potatoes at the end & mixed them into the soup. It turned out great, nice & thick & creamy. Thanks for a super-easy split-pea soup.

Chicken or Turkey Tetrazzini Deluxe

This turned out great -- a perfect quick dinner to throw together after work. My nearly 3 year old even enjoyed helping make (and eat)it. I halved the recipe & omitted the water as per other reviews & was thankful I did. Also, we don't like peppers so I added lightly steamed chopped broccoli instead, which worked just fine.

Awesome Steak Marinade

I don't like steak, but my husband & son love it and they rated this marinade a 10. I only used 1 cup of steak sauce, maily to save a little money, and it still turned out great! Thanks.

All American Apple Pie

This is a super-easy & great tasting pie recipe. I used 5 Fuji apples, which still made the pie overflow a bit. I also found that the top was more like dough & not crumbly. But I think that actually adds to the taste & texture of the pie. Just don't expect to have a crumbly topping. My 2 1/2 year old enjoyed rolling the topping into little balls & putting them on top. It was great! The pie was for my Dad's b-day & he likes his apple pies almost like applesauce, so I baked it 20 minutes longer & then left it in the oven another 15 minutes after I turned it off. The crust never burned, which is amazing! Thank you.

Broccoli Casserole

This is a good, creamy, kid-friendly recipe. I only wanted to make half the recipe, so insted of being left with 1/2 a can of cream of mushroom soup, I used that in place of the mayo. I also used bread crumbs with butter becasue I did not have the crackers. It turned out just great. Thanks!

Glazed Pork Chop

This was simple & tasted good. I served it with candied yams & the sauces went well together. I laughed because my husband's comment was that it was very good, but I should add more mustard next time. Many other reviewers said it was too much mustard. It just goes to show everyone is different. It did take longer than 20 minutes to cook for me, too.

Chicken and Dumplings III

My family enjoyed this dish. I had bone-in chicken thighs, so I used those instead & just removed the skin & bones after they were cooked. Next time I make this, I will add some peas & carrots to make it a meal. Thanks for the recipe!

Broccoli Chicken Divan

This is good & quick - perfect for left over chicken. I increased the cheese & breadcrumbs and used frozen, chopped broccoli. Next time I will increase the amount of chicken, too as my husband was still a little hungry after eating it. Good recipe, thanks!
