Sesame Beef

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2007
I've made this recipe many times at our house. I find that you really have to use a good cut of meat for it to be tender enough, so I use boneless sirloin. The round steak is just to tough. I also add red pepper flakes, broccoli and mushrooms and serve it over plain ramen noodles. It is delicious.

Roast Pork with Maple and Mustard Glaze

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2007
I would give this a 5 but my boyfriend said 3.5 so I guess it gets a 4. I thought this was so quick and easy and it makes great leftovers. My roast was 2.5 lbs and it cooked for about 1.5hrs. I did think the glaze was very runny but I just basted the roast every so often while it was cooking. After the roast was done we cut it up and put it in a big serving bowl and poured the sauce over it. Yummy.

Double Chocolate Mocha Trifle

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2007
Great Recipe. I made this for Thanksgiving. I could not find white chocolate pudding so I used french vanilla. I also couldn't find any toffee bars so I just shaved a Dove chocolate bar for the top of it. Everyone loved it.

Caesar Salad Supreme

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2007
This was absolutely delicious. Just like what they serve in restaurants. I've always wondered how they make the dressing. I've tried every kind in the stores, and they never even come close to the kind you get in a restaurant. The homemade croutons are also delicious.

Cinnamon Coffee Cake II

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2006
This was one of the best coffee cakes I've had. Very moist and I thought the butterscotch added a nice flavor. Next time I might trying adding the butterscotch chips like someone else suggested. Everyone at my work really liked it.

Grilled Pork Rub

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2006
This was very good. I will definitely be keeping some in my cupboard at all times. I used boneless pork chops and they were yummy, very juicy. I just slapped the rub on and put them on the grill, I didn't let the rub sit for 30 mins as suggested, and I thought they had plenty of flavor. It ended up more like a glaze after they were grilled.

Oatmeal Pudding Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2006
These cookies were great. They were a little crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. I did not use the raisins and I used quick cooking oats. Everyone at my work gobbled them up.

Broccoli-Cauliflower Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2006
Loved this recipe and its easy too. I did not use the eggs because someone in my family is allergic to them, so I just added more of the broccoli and cauliflower. One warning though it does get a bit runny on the second day, but it is still good.

Beer Chops I

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2006
I don't think I will make this again. I followed the recipe exactly, but I added some cream of mushroom soup like others suggested. The beer taste was just to much for us, I used Killians beer which is what I had on hand.

Hockey Pucks

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2006
I thought these were ok. I liked the taste but my boyfriend did not like the cracker taste at all. The chocolate was way to sticky, which made a mess when you tried to eat a cookie. Maybe it was because I used semi-sweet choc. chips, I'm not sure but I may try using the almond bark to see if my results are any better next time.

Chipotle Crusted Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2006
Loved this recipe. It was quick and easy. This is very spicy, but my boyfriend and I like spicy stuff. It was very good for leftovers also, I cut it up and put it in a salad the next day. Yummy. Its also low in fat, which is a big plus.

Fabulous Fruit Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2006
I loved this and it was so easy to make. I to substituted red grapes for the celery and used pecans instead of walnuts. This doesn't keep well, it was real runny by the end of the next day. Maybe next time I will wait and add the yogurt right before I eat it. Its such a simple recipe and a great way to add fruit in your diet.

Carla's Fruit Dip

Reviewed: May 21, 2006
I took this to a baby shower today and everyone loved it. I used an 8oz pkg of strawberry cream cheese, and 1tsp of vanilla extract like others had suggested. I also tasted this right after I made it and thought it was nothing special, but after sitting in the refrigerator overnight the flavors really came out and it tasted great. Next time I might try it with a different flavor cr. cheese, just for fun. Thanks for the great recipe.

Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2006
These were delicious. I doubled the recipe and I had a ton of the stuffing left over, so I stored it in the fridge and made more the next week. Everyone loved these at my christmas party, the cayenne adds a nice kick to it. Thanks for sharing this great recipe.

Twist of Honey Orange Rolls

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2006
These were very good, my boyfriend said to add these to his favorites. A nice change from the same old cinnamon rolls everyone makes. The can of biscuits I used only made 8, so I will probably double it next time. I also added more pecans. Delicious!

Cornell Chicken Marinade

Reviewed: May 22, 2005
This was delicious. I first tried it with boneless skinless breasts and it was good, then I tried it with drumsticks and it was better. Everyone I had over for dinner loved it. I thought it tasted like the firemans chicken bbqs. Definitly will make again and will always make more for leftovers.
