Weekday Pot Roast and Vegetables

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2011
Got wonderful response to the rather easy meal! Wants to know when we can have it again!! Success!(think it was the fat free beef gravy that really did it! Will look for more Campbell's recipes here. ......INSTEAD of garlic power, I used real garlic and substitued the basil leaves with dried italian mixed seasoning.

Cranberry Banana Oat Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2012
DELIOUS....Made this as an alternative to regular cranberry bread family usually has on T'Day! Will now be a regular on my list. Bananas made the bread moist and rich and the dried cranberries gave it a tangy chewiness that everyone loved! Only thing I might change would be a bit of almond extract to give it a hint of nuttiness(we don't use nuts generally) YUM!! You have to try this!!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2013
Absolutely delicious! I used cream of mushroom soup instead of cream of chicken, used vegetable broth in place of water and added some black pepper and rosemary for seasoning. I used 14 Pillsbury Grand Jrs. This was a wonderful meal, chicken was moist and delicious!! Recommend this recipe(with the substitutions and addition I made) Really hit the spot! Partner loved it!

Banana Raisin Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2013
Delicious! Great and easy recipe. I was looking at making my cranberry banana bread and came across this recipe. 1st time using my new bundt pan. Used dried cranberries instead and it just was so yummy. Partner said it was the best dessert I ever made!! Just have to make sure you watch the baking time because mine was done before the hour and a half was finished. Checked at 1 hour and had to leave in for another 15 just to make sure the cake was completely baked through. Otherwise a delicious addition to my baking list!

Delicious! Will use this recipe for more of my family/church functions. Easy recipe and no need for icing since it is sweet and moist enough as it is. Perfect for home and travel. Will be making cupcakes with this recipe in the future!!

Pineapple Cheesecake

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2012
I made this based on review and did not use the 2 cans of drained crushed pineapple. Not enough pineapple flavor! Good creaminess and texture but needed more flavor. Will make again but use the 2 cans pineapple suggested.

Twenty Four Hour Layered Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2013
Tried this to get more veggies involved in the feast that is Thanksgiving. I would recommend doing this in a 9x13 baking dish rather than a bowl to make for easier distribution of the ingredients while serving. Taste was very good, but just didn't go over well at the party. Oh, well......meant more for me in leftovers. Also the sour cream/mayo dressing could be doubled(or made for the side) for those who want a creamier salad.
