Steak Tips with Mushroom Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2006
I thought this was very good...hubby liked as well. I followed the recipe exactly. The only change I will make in the future is to cut down on the wine and to add garlic to the dish. Overall the taste was very flavorful (but I think the wine was a little dominant). Will definately make again, thanks for thepost.

Pork in Peanut Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2006
This was really good. It was a little too hot for me, but hubby loved it. I didn't add the veggies, and it was great served with the "poor man's rice" from this site. Great dinner...thanks for the post.

Poor Man's Fried Rice

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2006
This is good...don't really think it tastes too much like the stuff you get in take out....but still good. You do need to make sure that you add the fresh ginger because without it...it is just too plain. Thanks for the post.

Chex® Muddy Buddies®

Absolutely love this stuff. It is way to addicting to make just because...you do need a special occasion or you will eat the whole batch in one day (like I did). Delicious...thanks for the post.

Fettucine with Heavenly Salmon Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2006
This was just ok for us...second salmon recipe that I have tried in a row that disappointed us. I followed this recipe exactly and didn't change a thing. The sauce was too thick and it didn't have very much flavor. Don't think we will make this one again. Thanks anyway for the post.

Deep Fried Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2006
These are amazing...I can not believe that these exist and I have never had them before. The only thing I have done differently was to add a little bit of vanilla extract to the batter. These are so amazing. (I also had some mini snickers here and added those to the batter and fried them up....also amazing.) Thanks for the post...delicious.

Piggy Wiggys

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2006
My mom used to make these on Sunday after church for a quick easy meal before we all had to rush off to soccer or volleyball or some other thing we were doing that day. I use biscuit dough and regular sized hot dogs...we also split the hotdog and put in some cheese. Thanks for the post and some great memories.

Beef Florentine

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2006
This was just ok for us...a lazy man's lasagna. The spinach was too overpowering and the dish itself was rather bland...thats after added some Italian spices and more garlic. I don't think this is something that we will make again. It was easy, quick, and inexpensive...just not for us. Thanks anyway for the post.

Funnel Cakes

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2006
I love, LOVE these...and anytime I can get one...I DO. The only thing I changed with this was to use a pastry bag instead of a funnel (didn't have one to use). It actually worked quite well. Thanks for the post.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars IV

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2006
These are absolutely delicious. Originally I made them for dessert tonight, but when they came out I had to have a little taste...WOW. I made the mistake of cutting them right out of the fridge....didn't see the other reviews until too late, and the chocolate layer did not stick to the peanut butter layer and cracked all over the place. Now I know to let them come up to room temperature. I also used chuncky (honey roasted) peanut butter and milk chocolate. Definate do over. "Too easy...don't tell anyone!" Thanks for the post.

Basil Butter

Delicous on corn on the cob. We grilled it with the husk on to seal in the flavor and then loaded it up with the Basil Butter....awesome. Thanks for a new idea to an old stand-by.

Italian Roast Beef I

This was amazing. I ended up making a red wine mushroom gravy to go over it and it was one of the best roast beef recipes I have tried. Thanks for the post.

Red Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2006
Since I saw the reviews that said this was a little sweet I reduced the sugar by half. I also added more garlic. We really liked this. I don't think this will be our "all the time" recipe, but it is good for a change. Thanks for the post.

This was really good. I did add a little bit of garlic powder. Needed something a little healthier to snack on....and this was good. Thanks for the post.

Asparagus Wrapped in Crisp Prosciutto

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2006
Made this for hubby....not for me (don't like it). He really liked this. I added some whole garlic cloves to the olive oil and added some parmesan cheese after it was done baking. He asked me to keep the recipe on file. Thanks for the post.

I really liked this recipe. For the hassle though, I think I will just go to the grocery store and buy the bottled version...it tastes almost exactly the same (this is better). Thanks for the post.
