Hearty Breakfast Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2003
These were great cookies. I added chopped dates and chocolate chips instead of the raisins. Everyone loved them!

Pollo Fajitas

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2003
I love love love this recipe! The flavour is subtle but delicious. We use tomatoes, lettuce and cheese as condiments and wrap them in sun-dried tomato tortillas. Thanks Teresa for this awesome recipe!

My whole family loved this recipe. This is perfect for those resistant to trying tofu. I will definitely make it again!

Macaroni and Cheese V

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2004
I really liked this recipe - it's good old-fashioned comfort food! I used whole-wheat pasta for a healthier kick, and instead of bread crumbs, I crushed whole-wheat crackers. I served it with a salad and it was great!!

Soft Gingersnaps

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2009
I am not a big fan of gingersnaps but I decided to give these a try. I followed the recipe exactly as written and they came out perfectly. I could NOT stop eating these. I had a dinner party and brought these out with the desserts and my guests raved about them. These are definitely going to be part of my Christmas cookie baking from now on. I'm a fan!

Fresh Pear Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2010
This pie is amazing! If I had to pick a pie for a beginning baker, this would be it. It was absolutely delicious and it set perfectly. I made the recipe exactly as listed and I know I will be making this again and again. Bring on the ice cream!

A Simply Perfect Roast Turkey

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2011
Excellent recipe! I rubbed some butter mixed with rosemary between the skin and the breast for extra moistness. I used chicken stock instead of turkey stock and basted every half and hour or so, replacing the stock as necessary. The turkey was SO moist and delicious! It received rave reviews from everyone. A definite keeper!

Coconut Lime Rice

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2012
I made this almost exactly as it is written. I use extra virgin coconut oil (it's VERY good for you). I didn't have chicken broth so I used 1 1/2 cups coconut milk and 1/2 cup water. I didn't use the lime zest, only the juice. This was so delicious and I will definitely make it again!

Bread Pudding II

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2003
I don't come from a 'bread pudding' background at all but I really enjoyed the taste of this recipe. I found the texture a little mushy and will reduce the number of eggs to 3 the next time I make it. Also, the raisins were dried out and a bit scorched so I would either nix them next time or buy a different kind of raisin. Other than that, my whole family really enjoyed the flavour and it's going to be on our table for Christmas breakfast!

Easy Fruit Cobbler

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2010
I'm not sure what I did wrong. I followed another reviewer's advice and baked the batter for 10 minutes before adding the fruit. I also added almond extract to the batter. It smelled amazing but the peaches shrivelled up and the batter was chewy and pretty much inedible. Probably won't make again.
