Carrot Cheese Soup
This was delicious, I made a large pot full and have kept it in the freezer for a few months now and am thawing it for family that is here for the holidays. So far it's a big hit. I will add some cream cheese and cheddar for the picky eaters ;) This soup reminds me of a potato soup but different, and good. Happy cooking- Note this recipe is safe for Vagitarians-- it isn't Vegan friendly, however, haha

Old-Time Buttermilk Pie
This was a really good all around Buttermilk pie. Don't pay attention to the reviewers who think 2 cups of sugar is too much, it isn't. Buttermilk pie is supposed to be sweet, and it's best that way! The only thing i would do different for this recipe is cut back on the lemon a little. I don't like to taste the lemon in my buttermilk pie and I could taste it in this recipe. Still very delicious!

Banana Bread V
This is a really good recipe to base your own version of Banana Bread on. I think this recipe is probably meant to be cooked in a metal bread pan. If you're cooking this in a glass loaf dish then cut the temperature back to 325 and increase cooking time. I cook it for an hour at 325 and then an additional 30 minutes at 300. It comes out perfect. I did similar variations as other reviewers, 2 eggs and half brown sugar instead of all white, an extra banana never hurt banana bread either! :)
