Chocolate Chip Banana Bread II

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2012
This is a wonderful starter recipe. You can make changes for your taste and it still comes out yummo! Instead of shortening, I followed the advice of other reviewers and used butter, unsalted. But I only used half a cup and substituted the other half cup with unsweetened applesauce. I used 1/2 cup splenda and 1/2 cup brown splenda in replace of sugar. I added a teaspoon of vanilla. I must say, I did add a cup of chips, but I think it was too much. Making more today and I'm going to bump the amount of chips down to 3/4 cup. I baked mine in mini loaves and a muffin pan until they were golden brown, roughly 20 minutes. Came out perfect! They didnt fall apart or crumble. Its only been 2 days and 18 servings of it are gone!

Easy Chicken Tetrazzini

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2008
Very good! I used 1 can cream of mushroom and 1 can of cream of chicken. I added sauted mushrooms as well to give it a kick, and used Chicken Garlic Broth instead of water.

Chocolate Orange Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2007
I didn't think that adding the little bit of orange zest would do anything for flavor, but boy was I wrong! The cookie tastes more orange then chocolate. It came out very yummy and was pretty easy to make too. I tried this recipe as a tester, and I'm for sure going to add it to this years cookie give-a-ways. I can't wait for Christmas!

Blue Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms with Grilled Onions

Reviewed: May 1, 2007
I put these on the barbie and in the oven. I didn't use onions though. The family doesn't care for them. These mushrooms were a hit! They went fast. The mushrooms are juicy, and dripping with flavor. A favorite every time we BBQ now. Thanks!

Hershey's ® Chocolate Mousse

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2005
Very good. Very rich. Almost too rich, but I'm still giving it 5-starz. It was very easy to make, and the firm set very quickly. Will make this again.

Dog Treats I

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2004
This was a very easy recipie to work with! The dough was great and not sticky at all!!! But caution, check cookies every 10 minutes. Certain different pans might cook quicker! You can find all sorts of cookie cutters (including bone shape) at Michaels Craft Store! I bake a few dozen for all my doggie clients every Christmas! (I'm a groomer!)

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2004
Everybody in the family loved this chicken. The teriyaki sauce so 10 times better then the stuff you buy at the store. The chicken came out real juicy. Used breasts unstead of thighs.

Pineapple Cranberry Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2003
I did exactly as instructed, except I took 5 minutes about off the cooking time. The chicken came out very tender and fully cooked. The chicken wasn't too sweet, but very flavorfull. 5 Stars!
