Ranch Burgers
Yesterday was Memorial Day and whats Memorial Day without burgers, steaks, you know the deal. Well, I'd seen a recipe on the back of a Hidden Valley Ranch pkg for quite some time but never tried it. I did, however, find this on my favorite recipe--and the only 1 I use by the way--site, All-recipes. Well gang, its WONDERFUL!!! I've no clue why there are 1 & 2-stars ratings..THIS IS A 5* without a doubt! Everyone here for TWO DAYS of cooking out LOVED IT! I didn't have saltines but all else went in. IT WAS AWESOME and frankly, there will never be a "regular" burger ever again that hits my grill or frying pan! Try it y'all; you WILL NOT be disappointed! Thanks for sharing hun

Di's Delicious Deluxe Deviled Eggs
It never failed y'all, I couldn't make deviled eggs if my life depended on it. They were too runny, too much mayo, not enough, spices were wrong, you name it and I've had it happen with the end result being all eggs and accompanying yolks hit the garbage--each and EVERY time I tried to make them--no kidding! Time to head to the ONLY cooking website I use and the hunt was on! Sure enough, I found Di's INCREDIBLE edible deviled eggs and we ain't talking a TV commercial here either! But we could be because these are that GOOD! They are indeed INCREDIBLE!! I've never had deviled eggs with celery and onion but hey, I'm game and so glad I was! They are absolutely DELICIOUS! I did make sure those 2 ingredients were very finely chopped & its now the only recipe I use. I've never been a big fan of "spicy" so in lieu of the "dash of hot sauce" I substituted a "dash of French's "regular" mustard" and my days of never being able to make deviled eggs has come to an end thanks to Di! :o ) Its a genuine "red letter, mark it on your calendar" day when I get compliments for deviled eggs! If you're like me and wondered about the celery & onion being part of it--DON'T! They really are WONDERFUL! The truth of it rang REAL true when I had to make another batch because I ate all 6 prepared eggs in one day!!! Needless to say, I had to make another batch for the cookout! ;o) Give it try you won't be disappointed.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup
As we speak, this recipe is on the stove and if the first few "taste tests" are whats for dinner gang, this is OUT OF THIS WORLD!! OMG!! I've never made it from a recipe before and thought, I'd give this a go, why? We got a BLIZZARD coming Fri night through early a.m. Sun + anywhere from 10" to 14"!!! What better way to enjoy the snow than with Ellie's "Delicious Ham and Potato Soup!" I happened to see Jennifer's review and sure enough there was a spiral ham bone loaded with ham in the freezer from Christmas, 2009. Did use water initially but as it boiled away, added 2 Knorr's Chicken Bouillon cubes--use none other now, these are the BEST!--not so salty! -almost all of a 32 oz carton of Swanson Chicken Broth and let her rip!! I know I ended up using more but the same ingredients as Ellie's recipe calls for;however, being a very good military brat, "I adapted and overcame!" ;o) I'm always worried the milk will curdled as it did more than once when learning to cook...Will keep y'all posted on that in a few! ;o ) Gang, if you've got a hankering for potato soup in any form, this is the ticket!!! Its the ABSOLUTE BEST I've EVER had! If you're a beginning cook, follow her recipe exactly. If you're a "seasoned cook" rock with it anyway you like--I swear its foolproof and your honey, dinner party, friends over for supper are going to be RAVING about what an "INCREDIBLE" cook you are--that's a promise!
