The dish is ok as is. I used turkey meat and low carb tortillas to make this meal a bit more on the healthy side. I layered with meat, beans, tortilla chips, and tomatoes then put the sour cream and cheese. I also cut the amount of tortilla chips in half and it still seemed like a lot. My family liked it much better with the tortilla chips under the sourcream and cheese so as not to have that super hard crunchy top. I have also tried this with the plain yogurt instead of sour cream and it tasted just as good. This meal can be made so that your children will love it and you won't mind them eating it.
