Creamy Chicken and Rice

Reviewed: May 19, 2009
Good but I also added broccoli, celery and onion to the chicken mixture. In addition I took out the chicken bullion and used garlic and onion powder with the seasoning salt. For the topping I halved the cracker crumbs and added about 1/2 cup of shredded cheese to them for the topping. I also took out the butter which was not needed once the cheese was added, I used sharp chedder instead of the velveta. I think the combo of velveta, bullion and seasoning salt would add way to much salt to this dish. With the changes I belive it is a 5 star recipe, but a 4 as written

Salisbury Steak Deluxe

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2009
Very Good, I added some crushed "frenchs Fried Onions" with the crumbs. They were a little mushy but I refrigerated a bit then formed and added to a screaming hot pan to fry. After both sides were browned i slid them into a baking dish, topped with the sauce and finished them in the oven.. Turned out perfect and did not fall apart this way!

Buffalo Style Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2009
Very Good, of course I used only about a cup of Blue Cheese (my husband suggests more next time) and I seasoned my chicken breasts with some garlic power and onion poweder before roasting. It added an extra depth of flavor which took it over the top! I also used a Boboli crust because we dont like soggy pizza! We agreed that this was better than any we have had "out"!

Chrissy's Sweet 'n' Sour Tomato Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2008
this was good, a very nice simple recipe for the abundance of tomatoes in our garden. Next time I will add some fresh oregano and more black pepper. I would recommend only using fresh garden tomatoes as i can see the recipe being compromised with lesser quality "winter grocery store" tomatoes

Dilly Rye Boat Dip

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2007
For all those who said this is way to salty, you need to rinse the beef in cold water, before you chip it! This will eliminate the "too salty" taste!

Apricot Chicken I

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2007
If i could give this no stars i would. What a horrific mess, I used "Allfruit" apricot thinking that would be the best and am so disappointed that i wasted all the ingrediants! Family hated it, we made sandwhiches. Dont believe the hype people! unless you like "ketchup" chicken! Just save your self the time and money and use the ketchup instead.

This is hands down the best meatloaf recipe on this site! To those who thought it to greasy, USE BETTER QUALITY HAMBURGER!!! AND use the pre cooked bacon instead of the raw type! i usually toop it with the bacon and then top with the sauce. It is Excellant!

Very Very Very GOOD! My pickcy son LOVES them. If yours are a little "soupy" just take the lid off the pot the last 15 minutes or so of baking time! i also used, precooked bacon instead of the sausage. Thanks for the Excellant Recipe!

Better Than Best Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2007
This was very good, except after letting the chicken sit and and the coating to get gooey, its impossible to get it off the plate intact! I have tried using platic wrap, non-stick foil and oiling the plate but it still sticks! any suggestions?
