Pistachio Crusted Rack of Lamb

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2012
Very nice; a lovely change for a traditional Sunday roast. I used a grainy mustard and Dijon mix to marry/transition the texture of the pistachio. Also used duck fat instead of vegetable oils.

Scot-Tini

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2012
Very nice; use the best quality you can find or it will taste rather muddy. First time I made it with premium bar stock it was not that nice. Second time (my husband loves Scotch) I used a premium Russian vodka and a premium single malt Scotch....delish!

Traditional French Canadian Tourtiere

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2011
Excellent recipe very traditional flavour we loved it. Only reason I did not rate it a full five was the lack of binder. I used mashed potato because I remember my Aunt and Meme doing that and it turned out perfect. Thank you so much for sharing.

Clone of a Cinnabon

Very nice recipe; many thanks to the reviewer that suggested using dental floss to slice the roll. Over 30 years cooking/baking and I never thought of it!

Light Oat Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2011
ALright recipe, soaking oats in buttermilk prior to adding would give the loaf a much finer texture. I found the crust too heavy. Flavour was very nice and it cuts and toasts well for an oat bread. My husband however loved the heavier crust. But as he is not a chef I have over ruled his 7/10 and awarded my 6/10. Abit bit of tweaking and this could be a great recipe. Thank you for sharing :)
