Well I tried this tonight, using other reviewer's changes. The only reason I gave this two stars (as opposed to only one)is that I think that if I had made the recipe as written, it would have turned out better. What I did was add more water, add spices, only use 1.5 tbs of butter, add frozen veggies, cook with foil over for 45 mins and then take foil off for 15 mins. What I got was undercooked (after 45 mins) soggy chicken/rice. Then 15 mins later the rice was overcooked (but chix still slightly undercooked)! The frozen veggies were, of course, overcooked. The rice was overcooked and tasteless. The chicken was okay, but it would have been better had I just baked it regularly with olive oil and spices on it. If I were to make this again (which I won't!) I'd completely skip the frozen veggies (have a side of veggies or salad instead), use maybe just a quarter cup extra water, use the recommended amount of butter (for you people who complain of it being greasy... TAKE THE SKIN OFF YOUR THIGHS!), add some garlic, seasoned salt, cook recommended time (maybe more) UNCOVERED. Good luck.
