Winter Leek and Potato Soup

I agreed with a few other readers that the recipe would be a bit bland. Here are my modifications I used clarified butter (ghee) instead of butter, I used red potatoes... these are small, so 3 for every one of the russets. I added whole cumin and tumeric powderto the first step. I also added about 8 oz of finely chopped mushrooms. Turned out great. I will serve it with some shredded chicken for dinner.

Chinese-Style Baby Bok Choy with Mushroom Sauce

This was excellent! I didn't have green onions, so I used half a yellow onion. Instead of oyster sauce, I used the same amount of fish sauce (anchovy based).

Nice fluffy recipe. Being from Canada, I made the recipe with 8oz of back bacon. I used 7 eggs instead of 10, and it was still as fluffy as it should be. Instead of dry mustard, I used about 2 tblsp. of dijon mustard. This was an awesome recipe that I will use again!

Balsamic Roasted Pork Loin

This was amazing! So easy, and the meat came out so tender! I used a 3lb pork loin with bones, so cooking time was longer. 4.5 star rating!

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

I made it tonight. Hubby likes stuff sweet, but I don't like ketchup or bbq sauce on my meatloaf. This was the best of both worlds!
