I tried this out a few days ago, I made a crust using Reese's Puffs Cereal (one box of this cereal has enough for about three pie crusts), about 6 cups ground down end up being roughly 1 and a half cups which fits perfectly in a 9-inch pie tin. I baked that crust and after it cooled I added the filling.
I replaced the milk with half & half to make it creamier, and it did wonders! I'm thinking of trying this out with whipping cream because the pie doesn't hold all that well, but regardless, it was delicious!
