Ham and Egg Salad Sandwich Spread

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2013
This is great for Easter leftovers! My modifications: Used more egg than ham, chopped up a dill pickle instead of using relish, used horseradish mustard, omitted the onion, added tarragon and celery seed. Yum!

Oriental Vinaigrette

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2013
Delicious! I used half the amount of mayo, so it would be more thin - like a vinaigrette. Was slightly lumpy but very yummy! Thanks!

Thank you so much for this recipe!!! These are the most delicious margaritas I've ever had!Tthe only changes were using water instead of soda and using corona light - I'm trying to watch calories. Everyone I share these with loves them, as well!

Milk Braised Pork Loin

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2011
This is great, so simple and delicious! I used 3 lbs. of boneless country style ribs, making sure to trim off the extra chunks of fat. I definitely left enough on for flavor. It only took about an hour and I served it with whole grain rice and asparagus. The whole family cleaned their plates! Thank you for an easy and tasty recipe!

Split Pea Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2011
Awesome recipe!!! After I soaked the peas using the faster method, I replaced the water with low salt chicken broth, some thyme and 2 bay leaves. I did not use potatoes, but added 1/2 large, yellow onion (instead of adding onion in beginning), 1 1/2C carrots, 1 1/2C celery, all diced. Didn't have a ham bone, instead I used leftover 1/4 ham from Xmas, which I tossed into the finished soup. My 9 yr. old girl had 3rds! This is one to stay, thank you!!!

Joel's Jerk Chicken Pineapple Pasta

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2010
Simple to make, my husband loved it! He doesn't like pasta so I used brown jasmine rice instead. I marinated the chicken for about 20 minutes in lime juice and followed the advice of others to cut back a bit on the cinnamon. Will make again the same way but add some veggies such as bell pepper and shredded carrot.

My Grandma's Fruitcake Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2009
I followed the recipe exactly, my entire family loved these! 30 minutes cook time is way too long, just check at 20 minutes, I think the most I left some baking for was 25. Make sure to chop everything well! Delicious and filling, I will definitely make this again next Christmas, thank you!

Awesome Honey Pecan Pork Chops

Reviewed: May 12, 2009
This was very good. I did decrease the amount of flour like others had said. I used 1 Tbsp. flax seed oil and 1 Tbsp. butter, instead of 2 Tbsp. butter. Mainly for health reasons. It was excellent! Thank you.

Cha Cha's White Chicken Chili

Reviewed: May 1, 2009
Thank you for this great recipe! I did follow other reviews by pureeing one can of white beans to add some thickness and adding the cheese at the end. I didn't think it was very spicy at all. We ate it with tortilla chips. Great for a cool spring day!

Potato Leek Soup III

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2009
This soup is easy and delicious! I made a few changes by using only 1/2 stick of butter and light cream instead of heavy, also an extra leek. After cooking, I blended the soup so there wouldn't be such large chunks, but left it a little chunky. It turned out great! I like to add a few dashes of Tabasco and it may be good with some real bacon bits. I might follow another review and make some into clam chowder. Thank you for an awesome recipe!

Chicken Tortilla Soup

This soup is delicious! The kids and I loved it, our friend asked for more! I used sharp cheddar, 'cuz that's what I had, and it still tasted great! I added this Mexican hot sauce called Pico Pica and that just topped it off. Thank you!!!

Sage Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2007
This is a delicious recipe. I love sage! I added 1 more cup of water and 1 more tsp of sage. Toward the end I made a sauce with the liquid by using Wondra. I drizzled it over brown rice and mixed veggies also. Very tasty!

This was pretty good, but it seems like something is missing. Maybe some onion or garlic might help.

Awesome! Husband and I loved this, but it definitely needs a dipping sauce. I used leftover marinade and added same amount dijon mustard to make my sauce.

This is an easy recipe which requires a little work. I made two pizzas out of this, using 1 cup whole wheat flour instead to add some more nutrition, and it turned out great! Husband really enjoyed this crust.
