Peanut Butter Bars I

I thought the flavor of these was fantastic! The consistency of the bottom crust fell to bits and pieces when I cut the bars. I would recommend adding an egg to help the graham cracker crust form a crust easier.

Super Easy Slow Cooker Chicken

This recipe was easy, but lacked flavor. I needed to add tons of garlic salt to the dish to give it something. My kids wouldn't finish the entire helping because they thought it had a bland taste to it. Needs extra spices to make it more tasty.

Sister Schubert's® Breakfast Bake

I followed the recipe exactly...I even covered it with foil and cooked it a little longer to make sure it was done. Mine got too done on the top and was soggy in the middle. I took it to an event, and the inside looked like a hot, runny mess! Luckily, I gave it a 2nd chance. I took the leftovers home and heated them up the next day for breakfast and they tasted great! I recommend covering it with foil the entire time it bakes, then take off the foil at the end so the cheese gets crispy. Setting it out to rest afterwards is a must, or the rolls are soggy and gross!!

French Dip Sandwiches

This recipe is extremely easy, and my family loved it!! Instead of French rolls, I bought Caprese bread. I put the meat and some provolone cheese and made Panini sandwiches. These also turned out great!

Soccer Salad

I liked the salad ingredients, but I thought that the dressing was a bit bland. I recommend adding 2 teaspoons of salt, and skip the garlic. Also adding chopped green onions and poppy seeds give it a different kick.

Shrimp Scampi Bake

This recipe was amazing...but I completely agree that the mustard should be reduced to 1/2 the amount. After reading one of the reviews, I made this modification and it was fabulous! My entire family gobbled it up!! I was shocked at the amount of butter...no wonder it is so good!!

Pasta Salad a la Honeybear

This recipe is amazing! The only thing that is tedious is how long it takes to cut up all of the ingredients (takes way longer than 30 minutes even with my Vidalia Chopper)! I used Newman's Own Tuscan Italian Dressing for a change. If you have no Italian dressing on hand, I have made it with ranch salad dressing poured over the top. Highly recommend!

Pan-Fried Asparagus

Although I feel it is hard to ruin any asparagus dish, there is Way TOO much butter!! I also added some fresh squeezed lemon to it and served it with Tilapia. Yummy but cut butter in 1/2 for sure!!

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

I made these for Christmas gifts, and everyone thought I was a culinary genious. I made the first batch without the mini muffin pan. They ended up looking like a flowers with the reeses as the middle, so I called them Reese's Peanut Butter Blossoms. They dfinitely look more professional with the mini muffin pan, but either way they flew out of the kitchen as quickly as I baked them!!
