Toasted Pecans

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2008
Addicting. I made these so I could put them on a turtle sundae. Did not have to cook for the whole hour.

Carrabba's® Chicken Marsala

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2011
I found this recipe a couple of years ago on a copycat sight. It is so excellent that this year when my son got married, I did all the cooking and this was one of the favorites among the guests, they all raved about it.

Carnation® Creamy Cheesy Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2011
I have been eating a variation of these since I was a kid. We have always used instant mashed potatoes, make enough for 8-10 servings, then add the evap milk, shredded cheese and some durkee french fried onions, put in a greased casserole dish top with more cheese and onions and bake at 350 for 30 minutes. It seems like it's more work than it actually is and the end result is fantastic, not for the calorie counters. I will make this and eat it as a meal.

Cheese and Sausage Appetizers

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2007
I loved these, I couldn't stop eating them. However, I only put a pinch of cayenne because I don't like things spicy so everyone else thought they were too bland....next time I'll separate it and add more spice to theirs.

Split Pea and Ham Soup I

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2008
I don't like split pea soup, but I loved this (getting older does make your tastes change). Once I added dumplings to this per hubby's request, he said it tasted just like his moms. Thanks for an easy pleasing recipe.

Followed the recipe to a T, so salty. I'm not sure why.

Four Cheese Macaroni

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2008
Best mac and cheese I've ever made. I didn't put the extra cheese or butter on top, instead I topped with paprika and when there was 15 minutes left of baking I added thinly sliced tomatoes. Will be making this lots more.

Sangria! Sangria!

This was pretty darn good, I let it sit in the fridge for 2 days and added a can of sprite right before drinking. I'm adding apples to it this time. Thanks

Broccoli Chicken Roli

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2011
I made this years ago when I had a Pampered Chef party and forgot how good it was. Glad I came across this recipe again. I changed the servings to 10 and still had too much filling, I think 1/2 would probably be perfect.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2011
Flavorful all the way through. I used 1/2 pkg of onion soup (I didn't want too much of an onion flavor) and 1 cup of beef broth. I parboiled potatoes and carrots in beef broth and added them the last hour. I did half to add cornstarch to thicken the gravy. My new go to pot roast. Thank you!

Nacho Cheese Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2011
Excellent. I layered refried beans, seasoned ground beef and a little shredded cheddar. Baked till warmed through and topped with this sauce. We were then just able to dip the chips in it getting layers with every bite. Served with jalapeno's and sour cream. The hit of the Packers party.

I make a Shredded Italian Beef using Chuck Roast. This meat tasted almost identical, was not what I had in mind for a steak burrito.

Honey Wheat Sandwich Rolls

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2010
Wow, these were great! I don't have a bread machine so I used my KitchenAid mixer and as another reviewer stated for some reason you have to add more flour. I made these into dinner rolls. Served hot or cold they are great with honey butter. 3/4 cup butter, 1/2 cup honey, whipped. My all time favorite bread from this site WAS Amish White Bread, these just took the place of that.

I've been making a version of this for years. Double the recipe, omit the milk and use a can of sweetened condensed milk and crushed red pepper to taste. It's excellent!
