Four Cheese Macaroni

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2008
Best mac and cheese I've ever made. I didn't put the extra cheese or butter on top, instead I topped with paprika and when there was 15 minutes left of baking I added thinly sliced tomatoes. Will be making this lots more.

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2008
This was great, followed suggestions added a little worstershire sauce and some garlic powder. Also, hubby can't have onions but he can eat the dry lipton onion soup so I used 2 pkgs of that with 2 cans of beef broth. Toasted the buns and added a little mozzarella and it was to die for.

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2008
Wow this was awesome. The only thing I had was chicken leg quarters, I made the sauce and injected some into the meat then basted only 2x, cooked at 400 for 1 hr. So juicy and tender with an incredible flavor. I did not cover at all. I also doubled the sauce but did not double the soy and it wasn't salty at all.

Parmesan Baked Potatoes

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2008
Thank you for giving me a base recipe. I put melted butter, parmesan cheese and garlic powder. Pre-cooked the potatoes in the microwave then sliced and tossed with butter mix, baked at 375 for 30 min. Hubby said they were excellent.

Grilled Brown Sugar Pork Chops

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2008
This sauce was oh so yummy. I didn't have pork chops so I used pork steaks, I don't think it would matter if you put hamburger with this sauce it was so good.

Cinnamon Rice with Apples

This was ok, a little sweet to me for dinner. I served these like many others, with the grilled brown sugar chops (in my case, pork steaks).

Jalapeno Popper Spread

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2008
Excellent. Made it for a party, it was gone in minutes. Had it with toasted baguettes, ritz and my favorite Tastefully Simple Beer Bread. I put half the parm in the recipe and mixed the other half with bread crumbs and put on top. Can't wait to make this again.

Perfect Baked Potato

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2008
Thank you for reminding me that potatoes in the oven really are much better than in the microwave. I put them in the microwave for 5 minutes so I could cut down on my oven time. Baked at 350 for 45 minutes. Excellent, light and fluffy!

Famous Butter Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2008
Very good. I didn't pound the chicken breasts so I let it cook the full 40 minutes and it was perfectly moist and tender. My sis made this the same night so we could compare and her family loved it. Will definately make again.

Split Pea and Ham Soup I

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2008
I don't like split pea soup, but I loved this (getting older does make your tastes change). Once I added dumplings to this per hubby's request, he said it tasted just like his moms. Thanks for an easy pleasing recipe.
