Best Ever Jalapeno Poppers

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2013
These are time consuming but well worth the wait. As I make them more and more (which I will), I bet it will take less time. Very easy recipe. I baked mine in the oven at about 375 until they become a little brown. Perfect! It is very hard to mess this recipe up. The only down side I found was that while slicing the peppers my skin was getting irritated-but that comes with cooking with peppers. Rinse hands often to keep from getting too uncomfortable. I was going to see how well they froze, but had none left to find out!

New York-Style Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2013
Wonderful recipe- I followed it exactly and it came out very tasty- better than most restaurants. I did end up with a large crack on the top- but it was still delicious! Whoever said this recipe was bad obviously did NOT follow the directions. About to make it again right now for a going away party at work. Keeping my fingers crossed that it does not crack.

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2012
This is a great recipe- a little time consuming, but they came out very good. I was a little nervous about the amount of time it took and the fact that all other rolls I have attempted to make did not turn outand ended up in the trash. This recipe, while it takes a little while, is easy to follow. I almost took shortcuts but then went out and bought the bread flour instead of substituting. It was well worth the trip to the store in my pj's. Received many compliments on them. Will make a larger batch and give out on christmas eve as a gift for people to bake in the morning. DON'T TAKE SHORTCUTS OR SUBSTITUTES and use QUALITY INGREDIENTS. It really does make all the difference. Definitely a keeper!

Easy Decadent Truffles

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2012
These really are very good. Although, in my opinion, very time consuming if presentation is important-I'm picky about what things look like. I seem to have a hard time getting the coating chocolate to come out nice and smooth. I use a toothpick to dip the truffles in chocolate, but it seems like the truffles are too heavy and will fall or tear once dipped in chocolate. So it just took me a little (ok, a lot) of time. People get really excited when I bring them around. If anyone has any tips on how to dip balls (no laughing) let me know. I have the same issue when I make cake balls. There's got to be a better, easier, and quicker way. If we can put a man on the moon...

Butter Icing for Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2012
These were the first ever truffles I have ever made. These really are easy. If you use high quality ingredients (I use belgium chocolate and real vanilla extract) you will have great tasting truffles. The possibilities are endless when you start experimenting with flavors and additions.
