Spicy Sweet Potato Chips

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2013
How thin/thick you slice potatoes makes a difference. I experimented...too thin...burnt. Ones that turned out well were about 4mm...hope that helps

Baked Kale Chips

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2013
I had frozen kale. I baked it at 300 degrees. I added nutritional yeast and Braggs seasoning along w olive oil. I checked on it periodically. moved it around due to moisture. I pulled it when it was chewy...not crispy. Hubby and I devoured it in 10 min. Good earthy taste

I used coconut milk. I didn't have the vanilla. It was awesome. I ended up eating it by itself.

Garlic Spinach

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2012
I added a little bit of olive oil too. Alone it is great or can be used as a sauce base. I added some diced canned tomatoes and cooked pasta. I mixed it up and let it simmer. Adding a dash of sweet basil was also yummy.

Delicious Salmon Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2012
I didn't have soy sauce or red wine vinegar. I used balsamic instead, plus used Mrs Dash for salt/pepper. I sauteed the garlic in oil and added to the dressing. It tastes better that way. I added lightly cooked spinach for color and nutrient value. Tasty from the start. Probably be incredible after a few hours.

yummy...too bad I didnt blot the moisture or use salt...I did have some hunks with the skin I also put in. These were actually better. Pieces that couldnt be cut to french fry size. Places them skin side down....liked it even more!

Tangy Vegan Crockpot Corn Chowder

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2012
Yum! I didn't have vegetable broth. I substituted 1 can of chicken broth. I know it's not vegan but it did taste good. Nice aftertaste. I'm happy to see non dairy alternatives to chowders
