Great twist on traditional mac. I added crumbled bacon and it was awesome!

Rack of Lamb with Blueberry Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2014
I watched the video, read the recipe and improvised with the ingredients in my pantry. I found this recipe because I had bought my first rack of lamb and wanted a good starter recipe. This was it! I browned my rack, smeared it with a mustard herb mix then made a sauce with thawed peaches that I had frozen fresh this past summer. I would make this again and again with whatever ingredients I have on hand. Thanks for a great recipe!

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2013
I love this recipe! I mixed up the sugar types and flour types a little as I do with every recipe. I have made this wonderful bread 3 times in the last two weeks and I am about to make it again today.

Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2013
I love the bright yellow color inside. I did substitute key lime juice for the vinegar. I was a little nervous that there would be a lime flavor but since I love lime I would have just used lime curd for syrup if it had. These have no lime flavor and are spectacular!

Slow Cooker Baby Back Ribs

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2013
I read a review that said that they would try a liquid other than water so I used one bottle of dark beer. I also had 5 open bottles of BBQ sauce in the fridge so after throwing out the two expired ones I mixed the remaining 3 together and used them for the sauce. All I can say is YUM.

I was in the mood for pumpkin bread pudding. I used nine slices of bread, added a can of pumpkin puree and used 1 cup milk/1 cup half and half. i used pumpkin spice and cinnamon for the seasonings. It was absolutely spectacular. Thanks for a great base recipe.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2011
This is a great basic recipe. I will probably tweak it next time because it was a little too sweet and I felt that the liquid was too thick. I also missed the potatoes in this pot pie.

Southwest Pasta Skillet

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2011
This was fast and easy. It was mild and reminds me of mexican style mac and cheese. It needs a pick me up like rotel or something to bring on the flavor.

These cookies are pretty but are too sweet and lose all the good flavor of the cake.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2011
This is my favorite pie. The first time I made it my mound of apples was so high so I didn't use them all. It fell a little in the oven but it tasted so good. So the next time I used an extra apple and piled it about 7 inches high. Man this pie is good either way. YUM!

Served this for a Thanksgiving side. Everyone loved it! I just tossed it all together at home into a crock and brought it over. YUM!
