My favorite things to cook
Fabulous dinners and appetizers for parties, cakes, cookies, all kinds of desserts, homemade ice cream...I like to cook for crowds. It's hard for me to cook just for two.

My cooking triumphs
Buche de Noel years ago. Came out picture perfect. Also, catered vegan desserts for a jazzfest a few years back; it was stressful but fun and my desserts got great reviews from the public.

Very Old Meatloaf Recipe
I used to make this from an old cookbook years ago and lost the cookbook after several moves across the country. Really happy to find it here on Allrecipes. Thanks, Jason. It is, indeed, a wonderful meatloaf...

Tartar Sauce II
When I tasted this right after mixing it up, I wasn't impressed. Of course, it hadn't had time to meld. The following evening, I fried up some salmon patties and pulled this out of the fridge, dipped my finger in and said, "Wow!" outloud. Surpassed my expectations. Excellent! The bottled stuff doesn't even compare.
