Found this recipe when I was figureing out what the heck to make for lunch. We had all the ingridients, excpet the bay leaf, but it was a smash ! I would give this recipe 5 stars but, I had to make some tweaks, which gives it 4 stars. Things I changed: Instead of putting the meatballs in right away I seasoned them with flour, seasoned salt, oregano, and basil. I set them in the oven, until I needed them for the sauce. I browned the meat balls in a sauce pan with olive oil to seal in the flavor before placing them with the sauce. I am a vegetarian, and this meal was great for my husband, and his father ( who eat meat.) Great dish, will make again !
