Fettuccine Alfredo IV

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2013
It was very rich. To the point of us not feeling right. I will look for a lighter version. This tasted good and the other thing don't use Kraft cheese it was gritty.

Waffles I

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2013
The most important part of waffles is that they don't stick to the waffle iron. Flavor is second, these are good. Remember you flavor waffles with toppings. Everyone loved these, I loved to cook them, easy clean up. Thanks for sharing.

Corned Beef and Cabbage

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2011
I thought I was going to love this recipe. I didn't, because the garlic and bay leaf over powered the potatoes and cabbage. I should have stuck to my tried and true chicken bullion.

Bacon-Wrapped Scallops with Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2010
The sauce wasn't worth the dirty pot. With all the ingredients. I could .....have......made something good!!!!!!!!! We all didn't like it. Scallops and bacon fine by themselves. I did pre cook bacon under the broiler. then wrapped. That part was very good.

Roasted Chestnuts

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2010
I used this recipe for the cooking part. I then tried to cook them in the microwave. And at the time I was making ribs on the grill. So I wrapped some chestnuts in foil and grilled them on indirect heat for 3 hours. The grilled plain chestnuts came out the best. Soft and tender the next day(in the shell). I then whacked them a couple of time with a hammer to crack the shells. Then they peeled easy. I will experiment more with the microwave oven, so I can make them at work. Caution, I did have one blow up in the microwave. Made a mess, poke a good hole in the shell and cover.

Pork with Peach and Black Bean Salsa

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2010
It was edible, but I will not make this again. All the coating came off the meat and made the sauce grainy. If I would ever retry this recipe I would make the meat and the sauce separably.

Best Bruschetta Ever

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2010
Thanks for the recipe. Sometimes I only want a four ingredient recipe. especially if it just an appetizer. I see some reviewers totally change the recipe to the point it is harder to shop for and prepare than the main course. Thanks again.

Chicken or Turkey Tetrazzini

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2010
Ok, first off. I hate reviewers that love it and totally change it. Thats what I did. lol No chicken stock, I had plain yogurt in the fridge used that. And I upgraded the cheese...pick yours, all good. My wife cringed her nose when I said" turkey Tetrazzini". Her mom wasn't a good cook. She liked it. Didn't pack it for lunch, but liked it. She always packs her own lunch if it is great. I had to make her a turkey sandwich lol I liked it very much.

Fish Tacos

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2010
Just ok. I made it mainly for the sauce. A Bit disappointed. Although the Ideal of fish, a cream sauce and cabbage is good together. I think just plain tarter sauce would be good, with all the fixings.
