Heavenly! I used slightly less sugar and added a little extra cocoa.

It's Chili by George!!

We loved this chili! Used 4 cans of beans (2 pinto/2 kidney), added a couple cloves of garlic, celery and carrots, and served over whole wheat pasta.

Hamburger Pie

I thought this looked boring, but tried it because of the good reviews, and we were not disappointed. It's delicious! I added a few cloves of crushed garlic to the meat and used frozen green beans, which I steamed first. It was very good on a cold winter day.

This is delicious - even when leaving out the sugar and using fat-free milk. I often drink one after my morning workout.

Salmon Loaf

Great simple, healthy recipe. I use canned red (sockeye) salmon, 7-grain crackers instead of saltines, omit the salt, and add diced onion. We love it and make it frequently.

Emily's Famous Sloppy Joes

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2008
Delicious! I started making these a couple years ago, when we got tired of the sloppy joe recipes with ketchup. When we need a quick, no-brainer meal on a busy day, I often to resort to this.

Excellent! Only had one can of black beans and forgot to add salt and pepper, and it still turned out delicious.

Sweet Dinner Rolls

These were excellent! Made them for Thanksgiving and everyone loved them. Substituted freshly milled hard white spring wheat flour for all of the flour and about 2.5 tsp instant yeast for the 1 pkg. active dry yeast. Great flavor and light & fluffy.

Barbecued Beef

This is excellent and easy! I halved the recipe, and used 1.5 lbs skinless, boneless chicken, and it turned out delicious.

Excellent! I didn't have red wine, so left that out, but it still tastes great.
