Cream Cheese Jam Toppers

If making these be sure to use margarine and not butter. Also when using your stand mixer, use the bread hook and set it at two to blend the first ingredients and add flour a little at a time. Mixture will form into a ball for you this way

Bacon Popcorn

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2011
I love this recipe. I am of the waste not want not mentality and when I make this the kids love their snack time after nap. To vary it up from time to time instead of cheese and seasoning salt I will top it wit h salt and just the sprinkle of brown sugar

Whipped Frosting I

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2011
great base frosting! I used butter instead of lard and added some pineapple juice towards the end of the beating cycle since I was frosting a pineapple cake. I will add that I think you really have to mix it at least four minutes for it not to be grainy with regular sugar. I actually whipped it on 10 with my kitchen aid stand mixer for at least 10 minutes and ended up with light airy perfect frosting!

Aunt Phyllis' Magnificent Cheese Ball

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2011
I made this for a christmas party and WOW! I actually used cheddar cheese powder from the Bulk Barn in Canada. I will say that using my stand mixer was the trick to get everything incorporated nicely. I also added a bit of ham to the nut mixture and about 1/2 cup for the cheese ball. Amazing!
