Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili
I made this yesterday because it was a rainy/overcast day, and a little cool. I wanted to make chili that wasn't complicated but tasted great. I have my own recipe that has a LOT of ingredients, but I didn't feel like doing all the work. I stumbled on this recipe and gave it a shot. Seriously... outstanding! I followed the recipe with no changes, other than that I simmered it in a crock pot for about 4 hours on high. To me, it tastes like chili should! My mom used to make a recipe that tasted very similar - over the years she changed her recipe and I didn't like the results. This is like am homage to my childhood :) And quite honestly, I like it better than my complicated concoction. Perfection!

Tuna Curry in a Hurry
It's funny, I submitted an almost identical recipe a LONG time ago before I joined this wonderful site. It was a recipe my mom made us growing up and was always a favorite. I find that more garlic, onion, and pepper are needed. Also, it's really wonderful if you throw a handful of raisins in with the rice as it finishes cooking, to give them time to plump up. Delicious.
