So easy and good tasting. I used slivered almonds because that is all I had but will definitely try the proper nuts next time AND there will be a next time.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2007
I used a beef blade chuck pot roast boneless. It is the best crock pot roast I've ever done and will be the only recipe I use for roasts from now on. Great gravy also.

Pasta with Fresh Tomatoes and Corn

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2006
Very good and I WILL be making it again. Very easy also. I made it just the way the recipe is but next time I will add cooked chicken to it instead of serving with it everything else will stay the same.

Cheesy Acorn Squash

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2006
I classify this as a five star. It's got lots of vegetables and flavor with the cheese just being the extra part of it. It is definetly a do again recipe.

Italian Sausage Soup

Absolutely delicious. 1 I didn't think my husband would eat it because of the spinach. (He says I should replace it with broccoli) NOT!!! To good the way it is.

This is excellent. I used roasted garlic instead of frying it in oil. Yummy.

This was a very delicious recipe. I served it with angel hair pasta and salad greens. Didn't change a thing except I cut it into 2 servings.

Easy Honey Mustard Mozzarella Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2007
Absolutely excellent. I'd give it 6 stars. Done exactly as recipe except I put the bacon on at beginning of cook time because it was very thick bacon.

Pumpkin Spice Cake II

I used this for a birthday cake. Baked in an 11x17 cookie sheet, cut in 1/2 and then cut into layers (4 layers total) iced with cream cheese and decorated. It has excellent flavor.

Sweet-and-Sour Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2011
Very good and will positively be doing again but next time will only use skinless thighs. This time I deboned a whole chicken and cut it into large strips/pieces (like thigh in 1/2 etc.) I did add some red and green pepper stiips also. Everything else I did exactly.yummmmmy!!!!!

Hot Spiked Cider

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2004
Used this for a bakery staff get together and it was the hit of the party. I doubled it and add just 1 Tbsp. butter to the pot. I also used Captain Morgan Rum. I will definitely use it again and again.

Pumpkin Cake III

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2004
This is the best pumpkin one I've tried. I cut it in half, then split them into layers. I got a 4 layer cake that I put a mix of bavarian cream and buttercream icing (with a touch of pumpkin pie spice) in between then topped it with a very light cream cheese icing. It was decorated as a halloween birthday cake. I WILL be using it again for my husbands birthday in January.

Smashed Cauliflower

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2010
I did this but it was runny (my mistake, not a big enough cauliflower) so to fix it I threw in just enough instant potatoes to thicken. Fantastic taste though. Will try it again but properly.

This was delicious and I WILL be doing it again. I used homemade orange juice with mandarin oranges and added a little of the pulp as well. Excellent flavor. Good idea to double the sauce for 4 chops.

Skillet Chops with Mushroom Gravy

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2005
This is an excellent dish, so easy and fast to make with a wonderful flavor with the parmesan cheese added to the crumbs. I used the Campbell's 1/2 fat cr. of mushroom soup. Next time I'll experiment and maybe add a few thinly sliced onion while browning the chops.
