Big Soft Ginger Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2014
Soft, spicy, delicious! I love this recipe. I add a little more ginger and chopped some of my candied ginger and threw that in as well. I ran out of white flour and substituted 3/4 cup whole wheat and it was still great.

Cranberry Pistachio Biscotti

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2013
I have made this several different times, and its always a hit! I like that it uses olive oil--it makes it a little less sweet and a little more Italian. I usually change out the pistachios for almond slivers, then drizzle melted white chocolate on after the second bake.

Kugel

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2013
I used this recipe as a base for my specialty "chocolate chip cannoli kugel" (will post later) for a contest at temple. I didn't win--but guess what did? THIS recipe! So you know it must be good!

Sophie's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2013
I use this recipe with my summer camp, which is all about eating healthy foods (especially fruits and veggies). I replace half the oil with unsweetened applesauce to make it even healthier, and the kids love it! I usually add a little allspice too, since I put that in nearly everything I bake.

Sweet Potato Pie I

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2011
LOVE IT! This was my first sweet potato pie attempt, and it was awesome! The ratios were spot on and the filling set well. People who were unfamiliar with sweet potato pie just thought it was pumpkin! But this is some much easier than making pumpkin pie from scratch!
