Dianne's Crab

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2006
I made this with real crabmeat and it came out good. I ate this on it's own but it would go great with pasta too.

Italian Sausage, Peppers, and Onions

This was excellent. I loved how the wine made this tasty glaze in the pan. I will keep this recipe.

Best Marinara Sauce Yet

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2006
This was a very good sauce. I am very picky about them and this really is almost 5 star worthy. It is missing something but still tastes great.

Cinnamon Griddle Cakes

These were really good. We just topped them with maple syrup though. I liked the taste and the texture.

Deli Style Brisket

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2006
This needs a lot more flavor. I let it sit in the crockpot overnight so it was nice and tender but it was also very bland. Next time I will make a seperate BBQ sauce or gravy for this.

Chi-Chi

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2006
The taste was okay but this was way to thick to drink. I would cut down significantly on the crushed pineapple. I ended up throwing most of it out. What a waste.

Baked Rice and Vegetables in Broth

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2006
I did like other reviewers suggested and used frozen veggies which I added halfway through cooking and it worked great. This dish has such a great flavor. I used Zataran's wild rice which already had seasoning in it so I went easy on the other spices. I will keep this one!

Baked French Fries II

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2006
I really like these. I wasn't sure about how the basil would taste on the fries but it was good. I did cheat though because I used crinkle cut fries! It still worked out great!

Fantastic Lemon Butter Fillet

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2006
I thought this was fantastic. I went light on the lemon pepper as per other reviewers suggestions and then totally omited the ground pepper since I was using lemon pepper. I don't like too much black pepper. With these modifications the fish tasted perfect! Good job!

Clams Italiano

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2006
This recipe was excellent. I didn't have wine ( I realized this after I bought the clams) so I used 2 C chicken broth instead and it was awesome. I love the red pepper in this recipe. I makes a huge and tasty difference!

Easy Valentine's Day Trifle

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2006
My daughter and I made this tonight for a dessert and it was delish! It was simple to prepare. I used Lactaid in place of the milk because dairy just doesn't cooperate with me anymore. It turned out great. I too used Little Debbie rolls which probably made it a little bit sweeter than I care for but it was still amazing!

Grilled Asparagus Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2006
My daughter and I made this tonight. We added some cooked penne pasta and garlic to it and it was to die for! I am not a big fan of asparagus but my hubby is, so I gave this a shot and the flavors complimented each other so well. This is very elegant too.

Creamy Peanut Towers

I made this without the butter (too much fat!) and they were excellent. They didn't last. They kids and myself gobbled them right up.

Super easy and excellent as I expected it would be. Too much calories to eat everyday, but a nice treat for once in awhile!

Frank's Famous Spaghetti Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2006
This was an excellent sauce. I ate so much bread last night when I made this because I just kept loading it up with this sauce. It is really quick to make too which is nice when you don't have the time to do a long simmering sauce. My whole family loved this so it is a definate keeper!

Peanut Butter Pie

This tasted too much like cream cheese. I give a 3 for ease but that's about it.

Chocolate Cake IV

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2006
I liked the frosting for this cake but the cake itself was awfully crumbly and tasted odd. Maybe I am just not used to a chocolate jello cake.
