Cranberry Orange Loaf

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2005
This was very good and the flavors were wonderful but I thought it was a bit dry. Next time I am going to plump some craisins like a previous reviewer and I may add a little more OJ and some applesauce to the recipe.

Spiced Applesauce Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2005
This was an excellent bread. Next time I am going to try some chunky applesauce and I may add a little bit more seasoning because I like a strong cinnamon taste but it was perfect as is too. I will make this again!

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2005
This was absolutely the best pumpkin bread I have ever had. I am going to use this recipe and make smaller loaves to give as gifts for work. I ran out of cooking oil so I used applesauce instead and it was terrifc. Very moist and delicious and great the next day, if there is any left!

Mexican Zucchini Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2005
This was such an excellent soup. I got rave reviews from my family. Everyone had seconds including me, and I'm not much of a soup person! What a great way to incorporate zucchini and squash into your diet. Another 10 star recipe!!! Thanx Margarita Girl!!!

Mexican Lasagna

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2005
This has 5 star potential but I did think it was rather bland on it's own. I added black beans to the layers this time but next time I will add more cheese, veggies, sour cream and scallions. It was something different though and very easy to make.

Home-Fried Potatoes

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2005
This was an excellent potato dish. I cheated and bought pre cooked diced potatoes which I'm sure cut down on cooking time. The seasonings were perfect and they went great at my breakfast for dinner meal. I will make these again.

Honey Butter

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2005
Wow! What an impact two little ingredients can make. I loved this and plan to make it again and again. I was eating it on plain white bread and it was terrific. Next time....pancakes!

Cinnamon Belgian Waffles

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2005
I didn't care for these. I didn't like the texture, they were chewy, I didn't taste enough cinnamon. Sorry.

Egg Flipped Over

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2005
Very easy. A good basic egg recipe. I put these on bagels with sausage and made sandwiches.

Baked Omelet Roll

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2005
I was going to give this a three because it is very bland but the idea is so cool that I will try it again and doctor it up to my liking. It was easy to roll which is good and my picky son liked it.

Chocolate Wafer Roll

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2005
This was pretty good but not what I was expecting. I thought it was a little messy to make but that could just be me, I am a sloppy decorator. It was expensive to make, I thought, which I don't mind if the taste is fabulous, but this wasn't. my kids loved though, of course! LOL!!

Garlic Mashed Potatoes Secret Recipe

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2005
These were very good. I did add milk to them because I like them creamier and I whipped them rather than mashed them. I love garlic so that was a big plus. I would make these again anytime.

Easy Meatloaf

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2005
This was a pretty good meatloaf. I mixed ground beef and pork together, and it came out good. Next time I don't know if I will use as much milk though.

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2005
This was super excellent and super easy to make. I didn't add beer because I don't like it but it was still great. I toasted the buns and melted American cheese over these. My daughter ate this with some BBQ sauce. Everyone liked it. I added garlic and more onions. A keeper!

Chili Dog Casserole I

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2005
My kids liked this but my hubby and I thought it was just okay. I think the mustard ruined it for me. I usually like all this on my hot dogs but in the casserole it just tasted off. Weird huh? Maybe I will try again w/out mustard. It's a nice idea though.

Mom's Mozzarella Chicken for Drew

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2005
Wow! Another one I would give 10 stars to. This was absolutely delicious. The chicken was so tender from the chicken broth. I used Ragu and it was perfect in the dish. This is a definate keeper in my house!

Hungarian Mushroom Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2005
This is by far the best mushroom soup I have ever tasted. I was a little apprehensive when I saw all the different ingredients but if I learned one thing from years of cooking it is to never judge a recipe until you've tried it. This is a keeper and also a great way to use leftover mushrooms.

Krazy Garlic Trout

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2005
I am not a but fish fan but one my hubby's friends at work keeps giving us trout so I decided to give this a whirl (and my freezer is getting filled). I didn't really eat it but my father and step mother loved it. They thought the garlic flavor was outstanding. I gave them 5 big fish and they ate them all. So, this deserves a five.

Gyroll

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2005
This was very good but I altered it a bit to fit my ingredients on hand. I don't eat lamb so I used chip steaks and chopped them up in the pan really good, they worked great! I also ran out of Feta so I used good ol' American cheese. Again, great. This would probably be good with all sorts of veggies too. I agree with other reviewers who said there was too much filling for the dough. Next time I will use two pizza crusts. The idea and the taste are great and it is fairly easay to make!

Angela's Alfredo Ham

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2005
This was excellent partly because I used a homemade Alfredo sauce. I have yet to find a decent jarred one. It is a simple recipe to make and I'm sure any pasta would be good with this.
