Butter Beef

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2005
My family was fighting over this. We ran out!!! I think the recipe is just perfect as is. Wouldn't change anything. I served it with mashed potatoes and wax beans. Thanx B's Kitchen! Great job!

Super Sloppy Joes

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2005
A very good sloppy joe recipe. I added a 1T of BBQ sauce to the mix as well and put relish on the buns when I served this. I would add another 1/4 c of ketchup next time but that is just my preference.

Scrumptious Chicken Vegetable Stew

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2005
This is an excellent, healthy stew that really hits the spot. I used leftover chicken breast but omitted the fennel because I do not care for the flavor. Love the spinach in it!

Chicken and Herbs in White Wine

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2005
This chicken didn't taste very good. The herb flavor was way too strong and the chicken didn't look very appetizing. I am giving it a 3 because I can probably dice this and add it to a soup. It may dilute the strong herb flavor.

Kielbasa and Bow Ties

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2005
This surprised me. It was really good. It does need a little more seasoning but I like a lot of salt and garlic. It is a great way to use leftover holiday Kielbasa. It should definately be made with the bow tie pasta. I wouldn't change that.

It wasn't a bad soup but my family who adores soup just didn't go for this. Sorry :(

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2005
I made this last Monday and it came out nice if a bit watery. Next time I will only add half a bottle of BBQ sauce to the crockpot, then add the remainder after I shred it as some other reviewers suggested. It's really good though and has lots of potential.

Sour Cream Refrigerator Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2005
My hubby didn't mind these but my daughter and I didn't really like the taste. I would cut the sour cream and cream cheese in half. It overpowered the potatoes too much. I also needed some milk when mixing these. They did heat up nice though which is a plus.

I am not very good with fruit pies but wow, this was very good and fairly easy to make. I used frozen mixed berries and it was perfect. This didn't last! A definate keeper!

Slow Cooker Ham

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2005
I used a spiral ham for this recipe. It came out very nice but it was lacking in flavor. Next time I may add some pineapples too.

Buttermilk Biscuits I

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2005
These biscuits were pretty good. I am no good at rolling dough so I made them as drop biscuits and it worked out fine. The flavor was just missing something though. Maybe next time I will jazz these up with herbs or spices.

This was a pretty good punch. The flavor was unique. I think I would rather it with Sprite though.

No Bake Pumpkin Pie I

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2005
I had made this recipe a few Thanksgivings ago and every year after my kids asked for it but I had lost the recipe. This sounded familiar so I tried it and the kids told me this was the one. What I do is pour this into 12 small graham tartlets by Keebler and then top with mini marshmallows. The flavor is so nice and creamy! I will not lose this recipe again!!!!!

Tangy Broccoli

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2005
I just didn't care for the flavor the mustard gave this. I thought it the cheese and mustard would make a nice combo but I was wrong. The cheese and broccoli on it's own would probably be great so the recipe isn't hopeless!
